BBTS Question???

Postby Meat_wad1982 » Tue Oct 30, 2007 12:25 am

This was about 20 minutes ago.. I ordered Masterpiece Megatron and it said he was in stock... Paying with money order.. I just checked 5 minutes ago to look at the pics of him on the site, and now is says pre-order December. I know they hold on to items for 10 days if paying by check or money order, Does that mean I have to wait until December.. Or once they recieve the Money order itll be sent off. Just was wondering

OOOhh good question.. I think they will send him out once they get your money order... It could be possible that you got the last one available and thats why its now listed preorder. :-?

I always buy stuff from there. They update their inventory quick. If you or someone just bought the last one, they will list the item as "preorder" untill they get some more in stock.

I am not too happy with BBTS...when I ordered my MP-5 back in AUGUST for 109.99, for an October release, I literally got the last one (status went from "pre-order available" to "out of stock" after I placed my order)

So when they announced the December wave they put it back up for a 99.99 pre-order price. I was a little ticked at that and emailed them asking them if they will honor my pre-order at the lower price. The rep emailed me back saying I would have to cancel and re-order it to get the lower price. The rep said the higher price is due to the fact that it's part of the earlier Oct release rather than Dec. So I felt that a mere 10 bux was worth it to get my MP-5 2 months earlier and I left my pre-order as-is...

...WELL, I log into my BBTS account a couple of days later to look at my pre-order items and what do I see? A DECEMBER shipment date for my MP-5. I cancelled my pre-order and got it elsewhere.

So BBTS is not very high on my "buy-from" list at the moment :-x

o.0

I've had wonderful dealings with BBTS. I ordered Hasbro's gold Vector Prime from them for twenty dollars. Everything was fine, for a day. Then I get an apologetic email from them saying it was a listing error and that this Vector Prime was never actually available. So they refunded my money. They refunded 1.5x my money. It cost $20 and as an added apology for they error, they gave $30 in store credit.

*Shrugs* I've had wonderful dealings with them and anytime their was a mistake on their part, they were very quick to do everything they possibly could to make up for it.

BBTS rocks. I've had such poor luck with other online toy sellers, that BBTS is a dream. I keep a running list of preorders, and I use the pile-of-loot feature so that I just get a shipment every month or two, saves a ton on shipping rather than $10-15 every time a preorder item arrives. Just this week I had them ship my "pile" and it was over $300 worth of GIJoe and Marvel Legends figs and the shipping was about $25.

Very rarely have I ever had a mistake, and they are very responsive when dealing with issues.

I personally have never had any problems with BBTS. If anything, they are the only online store that I trust 100%. I've order elsewhere before, but I know that the service there has been top notch with all of my past dealings.
