Okay, don't freak out! Im working on a new Bludgeon kitbash project, it's gonna be good! (read inbetween pics)

First of all, i am taking R.I.D Bludgeon







I'm gonna take this guy, repaint him, and give him a new head. This is what the new color scheme should look like (thanks to Ravenxl7 from TFW2005 for the digibash), except a slightly darker green



Also, I plan to use a backpack designed by Tom_Servo for his Bludgeon. I liked his kitbash so much, I decided to make one of my own! Thanks Tom_Servo for sharing your backpack design with me!



Bludgeon's new head is currently being made by Sculptbot from TFW 2005! Here are some pics of the head's progress so far:





Hopefuly this will turn out looking very cool. can't wait to get started on backpack, and then repainting! This is my first time using paint and modifying/making parts (backpack). hope this turns out good! I'm welcome to any suggestions!

how long after applying seal coat do I wait before I can put it back together?

Looking pretty good so far. Looks like he could use an extra coat, though, especially on the shoulders since the stripes are still showing through. I'm interested to see how this works out, particularly since I think you're the first person I've seen who's actually gone with the robot mode's colour scheme and not the shell's. I'm wondering how it'll work with the shell-style head. Is he going to be getting a sword as well?

The green version of E Starscream's sword works well with him, although my Bludgeon's not been modded at all. Added advantage to this is that Screamer's rifle doesn't look so ridiculously large when you've got him posed holding it across his chest and supporting the barrel with his free hand. I've also given Bludgeon's missiles to Rebirth Megatron, since despite the reworked cannon he's still got the flaps on his arms that will fit them. Turns him into a walking arsenal.
