get ready to play those smallest violins, heres a sob story for the day

for years now, ive been working on restoring a g1 megs. i had been collecting pieces off ebay, and from garage sales, replacing a barrel here, inside leg there. i had finaly nearly finished. he was perfect, i even managed to replace a couple of chrome parts, and the fireing mechanism from the bootleg megs. got the reprolables replacement stickers. he looked new and minty, with only 1 thing left to finish

the center of his forhead, were it angles, and his chin had the silver paint rubbed off. justneeded to repaint it, and the fugliest and yet sexiest g1 tf was going to be new again.

i come home from work this morning to find that somehow my roomate had got in my room and on my computer. he then downloaded 78 diffrent viruses, one of which locked the homepage, and the browser. he then tried to download 5 diffrent virus removlal killers, all of which were demanding money, then deleated cookies and browser history in an attempt to cover his own ass

so i spent all morning reparing my computer, but have lost almost all of my 3d studio max, and all the basic tools and plugins from photoshop

so, pissed off was about to go kick the snot out of him, when i noticed that my decepticon shelves had been knocked. hardly anyone was still standing, but my megs still was, just not in the same place, and in a very ackward pose. so i picked him up to look at it.

he fell apart in 15 pieces when i did, all his plastic parts had been completely shatterd, as if hed had fallen off the top shelf, and then maybe stepped on idk.

ruined, with very little salvageable off of it, save all his extra attachments. i was ready to kill somebody, when i got a phonecall to go into work. i get there, and everybody had quit. the boss then proceded to yell at me and cuss me out....

boy did he pick the wrong day, at the wrong time. so i retaliated, and now am currently jobless. however i have enough cash in saveing to support myself for 4 months if need be, so im not to worried about it.

anyway, thats my sob story, dont realy care if theres no sympathy, or if i get the old "worlds smallest violins" comment, i just needed to unload, and share with somebody who could apreciate the work put into restoring an old busted and played with tf.

Man I'm sorry to hear about that. Your roommate sounds like my roommate. A complete tool. I would make him pay for all the damage he caused. I don't care how close you two are, the closer the better in fact that he'll know how much it ment to you. My roommates cat has so far broken three transformers, a vas of bambo tree and ruin Thanksgiving. That cat should be so luck to have legs at this point. Luckily I'm a cat person. Your boss also sounds like he runs the Receiving team at a Wal-mart. Blamming you fro others quitting.

Well I'm truely sorry to hear about your awful day. When it rains it pours as they say. But you sound like a smart enough guy to get back on your feet in no time.

All you need is a nice sturdy shovel. Whack him in the head with it and then use it to bury him. I won't tell. I'd be so primed to kill someone if I were you. Good luck and hope things start looking better for you.

As for the job, at least you have enough time to find a new one, good job planning for the future there! Sounds like it wasn't worth keeping in the first place, at which point I would have done the same thing. Hope he fun running the place himself.

Man, that's a crappy day, to say the very least. Makes you put your day into perspective, and I mean that in all seriousness, lest it come across sarcastic. Hang in dude, things have to get better after being this terrible.

You say you have enough money to last 4 months? Surely it won't take that long to find another job.

Why not say three months and treat yourself to a brand new reissue Megatron from ebay?

I know it's expensive but it's Megatron and after all taht crap you should treat yourself.

Also make your roommate eat the other Megatron.

The part I'm really having a hard time wrapping my head around is the part where your boss fired the only employ who hadn't quit. But I guess we all do dumb sh*t when we've had a bad day. If he's got any redeeming qualities or common sense at all, he'll call you, apologize, and ask you to come back.

But what are the odds he has either?

Wow. That Megatron story beats my Metroplex jumping off the 6'5 shelf three times over. I am very sorry to hear about that. Next time you try to restore a G1 Megs, buy the original box off ebay first, it makes a whole world of difference.......as for your roommate, get a rea lP-38, tell him you bought brand new G1 Megatron & shoot 'im in the face. Dumbass ****. Primus, why are people so stupid? And if your roomate was there when the shelves fell ,whay didn't he have the decency to pick them up? At least my friend respect my collection enough to pick 'em up if I ask them or just outta the goodness of their hearts. As for the job, I would've slugged your boss in the face. If you're having a bad day, take it out on someone you hate & deserves it. What a dickhead your ex-boss sound like......stupid prick........oh well, good luck fiding a new job, a new G1 Megs, & murdering your roommate..........hope you have better days.........

Damn, I feel for ya man. I'd have knocked said roommate's teeth down his throat, then make the asshat pay for everything, and then kick him out. As far as your boss, I'm suprised you didn't kick him in the nuts. Calling you in to bitch at you for everyone else quitting is a real poopy thing to do.

Hopefully things will pick up for you again soon, but until then, why not enjoy a few days off work?
