well i actually havent finished it yet lol. so far i've filled in the holes on the hood cuz i dun really like the look of it and im ready to paint it but then i figured i could actually make the bumblebee metallic!! (using a tamiya clear yellow on silver) should i make it metallic or just use gw golden yellow (i cant get testors since i live in AU sydney and gw and tamiya is all i can get).'
so should i make him metallic???

Well those two color choices combined make a gold color. but non the less a yellow gold so go for it. Id like to see the final product

i took the arms of for more easier painting but now i just need varnish..... but i have Nooooooooo idea which one..
is tamiya varnish good?? (btw i dun noe the real name some guy in a hobby store just said 'Tamiya varnish' so yeh
Btw is GW's Ardcoat a proper varnish?

Before you varnish it you should clean up the windows. You can probably scrape the paint of (gently) with a blade. Next time you may wish to try masking windows with masking tape.
