I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong forums but I just need some advice.
My HD Tv only has 1 HDMI port and i'd like to hook up my PS3 and Macbook at the same time. Can anyone recommend a HDMI splitter or tuner? something of that nature.
Thank you so much! my HDMI port is in such a weird position behind my TV that its impossible to get to it regularly.
Thanks!
Can someone help me with an HDMI problem?

I think what you'd want is an HDMI switcher. Head over to eBay and give it a search.

I have to wonder what kind of degradation that would introduce into the signal.

Nothing that would be noticeable over a short distance without testing equipment.

Well it's all digital, so the splitter would probably also double as a repeater, reinforcing the signal instead of degrading it. Of course if it's receiving multiple signals at the same time, I'd be more worried about cross-talk.
