I don't even know if thats what its called but here goes.
Basically, I want to know if its possible to seperate the instrumentals and vocals of an audio track.
I'm kinda leaning toward "No it isn't" but I'm not willing to give up just yet.
Anyone know any software that'll do it? Or if its even possible?
Much thankies.

Yeah it is possible, but goodness knows how much the software will cost, and I don't think there is any Opensource/Freeware out there that will do that, basic music editing yeah, but thats pretty full on!

Yeah. At the moment I'm playing with Audacity but its not much fun just rearranging parts of a song and adding effects. I want to pull the song apart and work on it from there, something Audacity doesn't seem to be capable of...Powersurge wrote:Yeah it is possible, but goodness knows how much the software will cost, and I don't think there is any Opensource/Freeware out there that will do that, basic music editing yeah, but thats pretty full on!
