Oh yeah. Cheetor is already warming pegs in abundance here in Savannah Ga. Hound, cyclonus and starscream are virtually no where to be found after I got lucky and snatched up the last 3 in town yesterday. I was considering universe cheetor based on his bot mode before I seen the back of his packaging. (Even tho I hate beastwars lol. ) And wow.....cheetor is an epic fail in my opinion. The other 3 in the wave are amazing tho. I wish we would have gotten a g1 dinobot or insecticon instead. Come on hasbro! Throw us more g1 dinobots! Lol.

There are still tons of G1 territory they have covered yet...And since it's the 25th anniversary of G1 I think that's what they should be focusing on...Ah well...

Cheetor is one of my favorites of Universe actually. Sideswipe is the guy heating my town up to explosion

I think that'll happen to me too. It happened with Cybertron Megatron when I worked at walmart.

Not everyone's a G1'ner. I think it's good to see others outside of G1 in here. That's what Universe's intent was.

Ill get it. Him and Dinobot. I need something to complement Nemesis Prime (Mammoth), and Optimus Primal.

I think Uni Cheetor is underrated. I'm not a fan of Beast Wars figures at all, but I got Cheetor and I'm happy I did. Aside from his giant kibble backpack in bot mode, I think it's a great figure.

No, you're right. The Universe line is all-encompassing I know...I was just hoping since it's the 25th anniversary of the original release of transformers they'd have more G1 stuff this year...But I DO actually think it's cool they are branching out (I'm looking forward to the new Hot Shot and Vector Prime)...

G1 started when I was a kid and that's what I grew up with, but I also appreciate other incarnations such as Armada (etc) and the movies and even Animated to some small degree...I just really hate Beast Wars...The idea, the show, and the toys were all stupid...That's just my opinion...

No, you're right. Well, if it helps, I always felt the G1 toys being overated, statues that break easy. And I only liked season 3.

I wonder when the new Hotshot is going to appear.

Actually I completely agree...They were remarkable for their time but as much as I love the G1 toys for nostalgic reasons, I think most of those toys suck...Even as a kid a lot of them disappointed me...That didn't stop me from enjoying them or wanting them but figures like Grimlock and Rodimus Prime and even Megatron were always a bit of a let down...

That is precisely why I LOVE Universe/Henkei, especially when it focuses on G1...I finally get to see all my favourite characters in their near-original forms but represented by actually GOOD toys (most of the time)...

Rodimus Prime, yeah I can see that (although I prefer to think that the character got the lameass toy he deserved). Megatron, yeah I can see that. Grimlock, yeah I can... wait, what? Grimlock? Disappointing? In what twisted Bizarro universe?

Haha! Seriously, Grimlock was one of my favourite characters as a kid but the toy was a huge disappointment because of such little articulation (especially in the arms)...he was so stiff-looking like frankenstein it bugged the crap out of me...Not to mention the insane amount of back-kibble...


Oh, and give ol' Rodimus a break...He didn't ask for any of that...
