I've searched, but haven't found anything conclusive, on whether its feasible to swap Grimlock's shoulders and arms, so the Shoulder pads in robot mode end up with the screws on the back instead of the front.

And if that makes the black tabs on his neck snap into the grooves on the shoulder, and hold them in place?

Has anybody attempted the surgery, and gotten satisfactory results? Or is it pointless?

I just got super-lucky. My Grimmy had super-tight joints and stiffness in all the right places. I can move his arms without fear ofr shoulders slipping. I picked him up at TRU long after Classics were gone and the movie had taken hold so I was even lucky to find him.

Now if only luck were to smile on me this day when my move into my own apartment is just over the horizon... :(

They're robotic creatures made of metal. What's wrong with some screws showing? It's not like they've got organic detailing interfered by screws.

Ask this question in the kitbash forum, that would be best.

Cheers for linking to that tox, I'd forgotten where I'd posted that info last time around and was about to type it again.

Screws showing upfront on Grimlock's shoulders is just fine with me. :)
