Classics Jetfire Sucks: It's impossible to actually use those words to describe the figure, isn't it

I don't think anyone is saying Jetfire sucks, but I stand by the point that he has flaws and there are better Classics figures.
By the way, while we're discussing blasphemy and toys: did Jesus have better arm articulation than Vishnu?

no sir, your intrinsic elucidation on the blasphemy of the suckiness of Classics Jetfire has made the waking moments of my day truly memorable.

I wouldn't go so far as to say it sucks, I just don't like it. Target had a few on clearance for about $7 for a week or so, but I still couldn't bring myself to buy it. Something's just not right about the nose of that plane.
Also, I've got one of Yamato's $150, 1/48 scale Robotech Valkyries, so it would really be dumb to buy something like that when I've already got what's effectively the masterpiece version of it.

Jetfire's nosecone was made to be as close as to its G1 animated counterpart as possible, that is why it's styled in sharp angles.

seriously, there's no comparison between the 2! Macross is totally different from TFs, and the Jetfire/Skyfire similarities end with the G1 mold. plus, i find Classics Jetfire a tad bit cheaper compared to a $150 Yamato Valk.

Classic Jetfire is a magnificent toy. Nice homage to G1 cartoon.
I have 2 gripe about it though. The limited articulation of the legs. And the balancing problem. Very top heavy. Especially with the booster-cannon on his back.

Well, let's not argue about who's awesome. We both are.

Someone give me an excuse to post pics of my G1 Jetfire.
*silence*
What's that you say? You wanna see? Of course you do!

Anyways, Classics Jetfire is the 2nd best Jetfire.

I didn't think he sucked by any means but I wasn't blown away by him. I was a little disappointed by him.

Yeah, that's what I don't like about him-that and he's so top heavy. I guess I just love my original G1 version so much that this one just can't live up to the hype.

He's a great figure. But when you compare C-Jetfire to C-Mirage, he lacks a lot.
His arm and leg articulation could be a lot better. His helmet is a bit annoying, and for the eventual repaint it would be nice if they left it out and covered up the holes in the front of the jet where his helmet guns stick out.

i found this guy today at walmart. it was the only classics figure there and i had to stare at him a minute before i realized what i was seeing. he is the 1st classics figure i have purchased and, i have to say, after opening him and having him dive bomb all my new movie figures and playing around with him in robot mode, he is pretty sweet. he is a little smaller than i thought he would be but i really dig the look which is very old school and a nice nod to the g1 history. the articulation is nice and mine has nice, tight joints though like some of the other comments said, with the backpack on he is a bit top heavy but still...great, great figure and has the same vibe that all my old school, g1 transformers had when i bought them when i was 8..like you can't wait to play with this guy and see what he can do. or at least i can't stop playing with him and he has established dominance over all the other random toys around my computer atm.
