All I want is a henkei convoy optimus prime preferably loose to cut down on cost but in good condition no loose joints or paint wear.
The other I need is a simple classics starscream (the white one that is toon color accurate) as with prime Id prefer him loose to cut down on cost but with no loose joints or paint wear.
Thats it! My x-mas wish list! The problem is I cannot pay an are and a leg for them.
I have helped out MANY a fan in multiple forums and see no reason whe I cannot procure a loose good condition white screamer for 20 to 25 dollars.
Henkei convoy prime I know Is a bit harder to come by and so he will be a bit more but Theres no reason I shouldnt be able to grab a loose one for thirtyfive to fourty dollars.
Now I may not be opposed to paying a bit more or to buying them mib if the price is right so please P.M. me if you have these for sale and can help me have a merry x-mas O.K? PLEASE HELP ME FELLOW MEMBERS!!!!!!!

Thats all that comes to mind at the moment.
As with all the figs I want Id prefer them loose with tight joints and no paint wear to keep down the price, but That dosent mean I wont concider a mib figure.

Paying it forward pays off, but not when you make a post in which you feel entitled to something cause you hooked up a couple others.

I understand your situation. I myself have hooked up some people with figures at what it cost me to buy them and ship them and others have helped me out likewise. Thing is, it takes time. Patience is the number one tool in hunting down a item.

Bio freak, I never came off as If I felt entitled to anything. Im simply fed up with members and ....well.... dam,n near everyone else charging prices I cannot afford so I plead my case to the members here hopingf that someone would be sympathetic.
I guarentee you there are plenty of you sitting there with three or four henkei primes for the sole pourpose of making huge money and I was simply attempting to appeal to their concience/x-mas spirit, what have you.

I asked if you had anything interesting for trade and you go off on this stupid ramble about how we're all a bunch of scalpers trying to overcharge you instead of dropping trou and bending over because you're so awesome and it's the holidays. The only solution you could figure out is to go buy a figure at retail instead of the literally thousands of possible trade options that might be out there worth $20 or less. If not that then simply stating "I'd rather buy then trade" and you probably would have my figure in the mail to you right now.

The only one here hung up on money and overcharging is you. You're not going to find a highly sought-after and rare figure as a henkei Convoy for anything less then what someone could sell it for on ebay. In my personal experience it's very rare for someone to hoard 4+ figures for a profit. Maybe you do that but not the majority of us.

Instead of begging like a child on these forums you might be better off going somewhere like Ebay where your attitude won't affect your deals.

Secondly are you realy saying Im the onlyone who would liike lower prices on figures?!?!! ROTFLMFAO!!! Not everyone lives in a reletives basement rent free. Ive fot a family to shop for Any cash I cas save helps me out ALOT I simply didnt have much more to spend than my quoted prices. I dont even have a response passed that.

To end, i will say that I did infact do exactly what you told me I should have done. I stated what Id like to have along with a price range. I made sure to say that I may pay a bit more than my quoted limit but that I wouldnt pay scalper prices.

I no longer need henkei prime. I did infact recieve him for fourty dollars including shipping. Thanks to krenger 99. I was sold henkei megs for thirtyfive dollars with shipping a month or so ago by hal. So there are folks out there that will sell you rare figures for what they paid for them. I am one of those people and am proud to be weather or not certain folks "really dont care"
Anyhow, I have the grey version of screamer available for trade. I would like to trade him straight up for the white toon colored version of him.
I may also trade him for another figure I need. They have already been listed.

What I need to know is exactly what I was supposed to have done wrong here? For a member to ramble on about bla bla bla is one thing but when a mod is accusing me of handling my thread in a manor that could result in a punishment I need to ask why.
I plan on procuring figures through the very same method in which I used here and have used previously to great sucess.
That is ask for what I want and tell what Ill give for it. PERIOD. If that is the wrong way to go about it then I need to know how Im expected to use this forum.
If someone accuses me of acting as if Im entitled to something and adds a bit of this and that am I not allowed/supposed to defend myself and plead my case?

Nothing insulting to be seen there. So, Im guessing your response was to my question of exactly what I did wrong.

Look at your response again. You agreed to his offer, and then listed names of other people - people you wish you would rather deal with now, than him. You wanted something better than what he was offering. I don't care what your initial intentions were but that's what he was aggravated about.

I'm not trying to point fingers or point blame on anyone, but B/S/T is all about business. You don't like an offer, or anything, just move along, no need to get riled up about it.

Comical to see how some people like to take things. The fact is and its written quite clearly that i asked for a figure was asked if i had anything for trade and i responded with what i may be able to do as far as a trade.
I go on to ask if a certain price would be acceptable and gave props to a few members who did me a great favor.
If two members found a way to see a smartelic flavor in
a response that simply is not smartelic then my mind is boggled and there is nothing i can do about it. I have been sent several p.m.s reguarding this thread and those members seem to believe that the backlash is just sour grapes from people who would get tip top dollar out of any figure they sell. Im inclined to agree.
If thats how some or even most members wish to opperate then so be it. I clearly stated that i would not and could not pay those prices from the get go though so those people shouldnt even have chimed in.
This was not ment to be a debate on ethics of charging too much for figures it was an attempt to buy figures in the proper forum and should have been treated as such. No debate should have transpired.
I am now forced to abandon my thread because of a few members who took offence to my gaul to ask for a fair price.
Amazingly in spite of all tha arguing i did manage to procure a henkei prime ram jet and starscream at below the price i stated. Not a total waste but i wish i could have been able to continue. The thread is all yours guys. Ta ta.
