What is Machine Wars?
I've not coma across that before...

Machine Wars was hasbro's first attempt at getting back to vehicle-style TFs in a time where the majority of Transformers were animal based. (Beast Wars)
It lasted one wave consisting of six Autobots and six Decepticons. However, it failed, mostly because there was no cartoon or comic to back it up (A kid is going to want a toy when he knows it's a cool character), and partly it was exclusive to KB Toys, so it didn't see a wide release.
