After primus closes the black hole that was left when Unicron was defeated in Energon there is no more war to fight. So the planets are united and Optimus Prime is the leader and decides to keep his battle armor with a little recolor. The planetary badges are from the Giant, Jungle, Earth and Speed planets which he is the unified leader of. Plus it's a really nice repaint that goes well with Cybertron Wingsaber...

ya I been wondering why he was a mix of Optimus and Nemesis prime for color aswell. I never really watched Cybertron so that lil story helped. yey =D

basicly its a repaint

it's a nice repaint though. I really like the more menacing black, dark tinted windows and the 4 faction symbols on his shoulders.

add to that how his face shield goes up and down and how you can take the matrix out of his chest and he's just awesome. Plus he's huge. I absolutely love mine.
