Differences between Hasbro Re-Issues and Takara TF Collection Re-Issues?

Postby rathead » Thu Jul 12, 2007 10:30 pm

What , if any, are the differences between these 2 lines?

Do they use the same molds?
Color schemes/stickers?
Articulation/joints?
Material (i.e. plastic/diecast)?

Also, how different are the re-issues from the original G1 line?

Thanks

Due to child safety standards, all characters with firing missiles released over here had the missiles lengthened, and I believe that some of the launchers had their springs removed (not 100% on that).

Other than that, I think there were no differences between the two reissue lines, but if that's incorrect, someone else can fill you in.

Weapon: Double-Barreled Plasma Shell Shotgun
the japanese reissues have springs and working missile launchers. There is also big use of chrome on weapons, parts, missiles.

There is more use of die cast on molds too
