very true, its a sad existence to be sure, these people exist in all walks, but with transformers, it seems particularly lame to me.
Probably because collecting bots as an adult is completely for fun and nothing else. I dont need bots, nothing will happen if I dont purchase them, but I love to and that is what counts. That is actually what binds all of us on this board and at the conventions.
That being said, it is sad to see someone use their childhood favourite as a mudhole to stomp. I am happy that these brutally negative people are the minority at the cons though, I only hear from them every 20 customers or so.
I lump it in with the very small amount of people who steal at conventions, it really isnt what the collector's community is supposed to be about, but at every major show, it usually happens once or twice.

no worries, all toy collectors have that in them to some degree. All collectors of any kind actually.
