I don't. I sell theolder ones on eBay and usually recover a good portion of what I paid for the figure.

I keep them for a while.
I throw ones like Armada and Energon after the series has ended, but I've kept all Alternator, Titanium, Reissue, Classics, Cybertron etc in tip top shape out of sunlight. Scissors are my best friend when opening boxes and removing tfs.

I keep the boxes for reissues and Masterpiece figures, only to store the figures in them when they're not on display. I don't keep the packaging for the Classics or movie toys.

I Keep some, mostly the bigger boxes. the cards i throw out. and anything in a weird shape, that cannot be stores easily, or that you need to practically destroy to get the figure out (Looks at the Alternator bubble boxing), I throw away.
I have most of my larger boxes for the RID figures Prime, Magnus, Galvatron etc..

I usually keep all of the boxes, but flatten them for easy storage. The only boxes I do not flattenwould be Japanese boxes (usually on display) Exclusive boxes, or Alternator boxes. Oh and Starscream boxes.

I pitch 'em, due to the fact that I'm not quite patient enough to open them with any great care, and totally destroy them before it's all said and done.

I have opened all my figures except for Robot Heroes wave 1, which shall be my first MIB figures. I keep my figures away from sunlight, smoke, kids and food if possible.

It depends for me what's on the box. If there's tech specs / character description and no good way to cut them out, I'll flatten the whole outer box and keep it. If the character info comes inside, I'll just keep that and the instructions.
The exception would be the reissues, I generally keep all the packaging for those.
In general, I just do it for the sake of having it not for resale purposes. There may come a day when I have to sell things, but in general I look at my collecting as just a hobby and the money as enjoyment money, not any sort of long term investment or anything like that.

If I have enough money at the time, I'll buy two. One to keep MIB and one to play with like a lil' hyped up kiddie
Although right now I'm running out of room for any more... guess I'll just have to knock down a wall

I keep the undamaged boxes. I should really keep all of them though, in case I need to store them at some point.

I kept the box of my figure, and it is stored on top of the hood of the cat pan in the closet.

The only complete boxes I have are from Galaxy Force Sonic Bomber and Soundblaster.
The rest of my boxes get thrown away except for tech spec, bio; movie packaging the whole back gets saved along with headshot. Too many boxes to keep if they were whole.

I collapse 'em and ditch the plastic bits.

Yeah i keep my boxes and i too open them like a surgeon to keep them in good condition. I dont see the point in keeping the toys MIB because you cant enjoy them that way. They just sit there and do nothing. They are ment to be touched and transformed and admired, keeping them in boxes is a real shame IMO. (unless you have two of the same figure then obviously keep the one MIB)

I just recently started to keep them, after realizing it was pretty reasonable to do so. I open them with surgeon precision as well.
