I was just wondering if anybody has heard any news on any new Transformer Classics or is the line going to be replaced by the movie line?

Classics is on hold until the movie line is in full swing. There's been no confirmed news about any new Classics, but they may pick up the line in late 2007 / early 2008. As soon as June hits, though, it'll be the Movie Line for a good long while.

As far as we can tell, this line was merely filler until the movie hits. Perhaps when the movie merch has died down, probably after Christmas, we may hear more from Hasbro about Classics. Until then we just have to wait.

I hope there's more coming.
I’d love to see a Classics Rumble and Ravage, and a Blaster.

We would all love more classics, but I think we'll have to wait for Botcon to know it's future. We already know it was intended as a filler line.

Filler line or not, it's the line that made me love TF's again!

I am a G1 guy and I was really happy that they were updating all of the G1 line. I hope they continue the line after the movie dies down.

I bet there will be an announcement about Classics at Botcon. It will be either the line will continue as of such and such date or the line is history. Of course the third option could be that Transformers Heros is the classics line. Wouldn't that be rich?

Ditto. I've even cleared all my Alternators & Cybertron off my shelves, and into storage...

I would love to see the Classics continue. I think there is a ton that could be done with a few car molds. However, I fear the worst as I watch Classics clog shelves everywhere I go.
The release of the seekers at Botcon just confirm my fears. If the line was planned for continuation, I do not believe that the seekers would have beeen exclusives.
However, I do hope that the extra figures at Botcon are Classics repaints. The hotrod mold could defiantely be used to pump out a mess of autobots with minimal remolding.

I collected all though G2 and MW (though the only ones I were able to get were Megs and Screamer)picked up a few BW/BM ones, and Rid. kinda gave up halfway though energon(it was all of the repaints) but classics made me feel like a kind again. My first one was Starscream, that I picked up on a trip, and it was the first time in years I couldn't wait to open a TF!

Yea unfortunetly it was a filler line and a way to bring in old fans back in before the movie hits. It is a great line but it was just a filler. And I agree that info probably will come out at Botcon.
After the movie toy line runs its coarse you have to remember the new cartoon is coming out and it will ofcourse have it's own toy line.

AQ little something i found that i thought was interesting, on the classics ad at the back of most recent IDW issues it says that classics transformers come as "vechicals, beasts...... and even blasters!"
I dont remember seeing any beasts, and i kinda hope it is a teaser about what is to come (classics Predaking
, yeah i wish)

Technically Grimlock, Leo Prime, and Trypticon are beasts I guess; plus there are also the Predator Attack Team and Dinobot Minicons.
