It looks more like a LED addition for Hercules' build-a-gun. The only problem I'm having is figuring out if it totally replaces the top scope or adds on to the back of it.

Our friends over at the Transformers Galaxy Hong Kong Fans Group have revealed Dr. Wu's DW-P05 Eyesight, a set of LED lights for TFC Toys Hercules. The lights will come in two styles a red LED housed in black plastic, and a clear LED housed in green plastic. These can be attached to the various ports on the Hercules team as spotlights, and the black version can be mounted behind head Hercules' head to illuminate his light-piping. Images mirrored below.

I gotta admit, after paying out about $500 for Herc I really like the idea of upgrading him even further. I'll take a pass on their rage face, but I like these.

The only thing that gives me pause is the new head Herc is getting soon. If it's toon inspired it's quickly replacing the current one. I won't buy this if it doesn't fit.

Edit: nevermind, it looks like it'll be fine!

I happened across a few of these recently... :-$

So far, I'm disappointed by the green ones, they paint easily scratches off. Black one doesn't seem to have the same problem. The LEDs are pretty bright, but the black one does NOT play well with the translucent red build-a-rifle as I hoped it would.

Mine came in from TFSource and while the black is cool the green coloring just isn't a great match. I've got photos and a review online for anyone who wants to know more than "Black = Yes. Green = No."

Do you happen to know if the green version you purchased has the corrected paint on it? Meaning, the original batch had the green flake off a lot (I have two that I purchased back in April and the flaking is very apparent) and looking closely at your pictures I can tell that yours also has the flaking.

Maybe I just paint mine to fix the issue. And I feel you, regarding wanting enough for EACH bot. It seems insane because of the price for each light, but just sounds so cool if you visualize the final product.
