That's tasty! You see they're doing Omega Supreme as well? Yes in MP scale. Apparently $350 though I'll believe that when I see it.

Totally is!! And yeah, Omega will be nuts. If Skyfire is $220, $350 could be doable!!

If they manage him at that price, I might just have to dig deep and get him.

I would've waited an eternity for a true, MP-style Galvatron....and when I saw Tyrant, that was it. I guess it was the face (perfect!), the cannons and pure girth/size of DX9's effort that pleased me so much. The space cannon also looks quite cool, and unlike some Takara MPs, I felt safe fiddling with him.

That said, Sovereign looks amazing! I prefer Tyrant's head sculpt, but FT certainly nailed the legs and other proportions quite nicely...but I can't imagine replacing Tyrant for him or the upcoming Abaddon....hell, even an official MP from TT.

His hands are weak, truly, but dat face, cannon choices and overall bad ass-ness of the figure does Galvatron justice in my book. The original G1 and recent Titans Return figures don't even compare.....there's a reason he was my first 3rd party "MP".

Okay guys, I need your help...I'm really on the fence about getting this guy. I mean, he looks absolutely perfect, and is definitely the best MP Galvatron we have right now (Tyrant just looks off everywhere. The head, the torso, the feet... ), so I really want him on my shelf. But, I don't want another Apollyon situation and see the official release come by a year later and blow this attempt out of the water.

I only can get this stuff during December-January, so...should I pull the trigger, or not bother?

Well, if there can be only one - why not wait till Abaddon and MP Galvatron appear? There's always others you could get in the meantime.

I don't have any attachment to Omega at all, but he looks awesome. If Has/Tak is planning him as an upcoming Titan in the next few years, things could be interesting!

Around this time last year I had Tyrant paid for at BBTS but had my PoL turned on so he didn't ship. I ended up cancelling him and Carry for whatever reason and spent my credit on a few Takara MPs I didn't have yet. Compared to Apollyon, which I feel fits in line with MP10, I didn't think Tyrant fit in with MP9 the way this guy SEEMS to (based on the comparison image with their Springer and another comparison of Springer with MP9). For right now, this is my favorite Galvatron. Even though I love my Apollyon I don't know if I can wait for Abaddon from X-Transbots. I've read they've gotten better, but I've been through it with my Apollyon and I don't want to go through that again with my favorite character!!

If there is one reason I'd get this guy over the Takara release (whenever it eventually happens) it's for the color. I don't want another lavender Galvatron! Dang it! Am I the only one who likes blurple Galvatrons?! I mean look at this guy!!

Also, if FansToys OR DX9 wants to print money, they can release the toy deco too so if you wanted to hold off for THAT one and get the Takara MP (which HAS to be coming, just like Megatron eventually did) you'd be set! Here's both in their toy colors..

I have yet to buy anything from X-Trans, but that's disappointing to hear about their QC - their Scourge & Cyclonus look sweet.

I like blurple too. No lavender Galvatron for me! I figure I'll defo be watching for Sovereign's release.

Hrm. Why is he so much taller than Starscream? That's.....not great. I figured he'd be Convoy sized.

Starting to see imperfections...also, I wish third-party stuff would be included in the Seibertron news.

I'm hoping for close to MP10/MP9 height. I felt like that is what really didn't work for me with DX9s Tyrant. I wanted to pick up Carry, and then I saw Tyrant and thought Carry was too small, but really Tyrant was too big. I mentioned over on TFW that I'd prefer Galvatron to be eye-to-eye with MP10 when they are standing statically, just like I'd like Megatron to be. Even though Galveston is a powered up Megatron, he didn't necessarily gain mass/height. If anything, he's more efficient!

I'm really leaning towards that release month. Apparently the final production figures are heading out to sponsored reviewers within the week so we should see some from the regulars on the YouTubes.

I'd assumed this would be eye to eye with Prime. It makes sense, no? They WERE the same size in the cartoon and comic. So why make this figure so much bigger? My only guess would be is he looking MP Ultra Magnus in the eye? They were supposed to be rival City Commanders, right? (According to the toys that is.)

Guess that's one figure I don't need to buy now. Shame.
