They surely did not put much thought into the name. Im sure it is just to rake the fandom for yet another repaint of the seeker mold. Whos next? Yellow Wing? Brown Wing?

The name is, I'm guessing, a play on the US Hockey Team called Detroit Red Wings.

Or possibly from Final Fantasy 4.

Really curious to know if this is the 7th bonus figure for the TFSS 2.0 or if we are getting Eject. Honestly, I'd rather get another Seeker. Eject has never gotten any spotlight in any of the fiction as far as I've seen so I simply don't care about him. The opportunity to add another Seeker in a color I don't have though... yup. Sold!

We won't know what the seventh figure is until it arrives in the mail.Flux Convoy wrote:Really curious to know if this is the 7th bonus figure for the TFSS 2.0 or if we are getting Eject.
This guy is just something that was thrown into the background of the BotCon Machine Wars comic, and only got a name and artwork after user Powered Convoy kept pestering the Club about it both during and after BotCon. So for him to be getting a toy any time soon seems unlikely since he was only really conceived as an afterthought character so late in the game.
IIRC, Eject's biggest role has been in the "G.I. Joe vs. The transformers: Black Horizon" comic series (which was an awesome series, btw).Flux Convoy wrote:Eject has never gotten any spotlight in any of the fiction as far as I've seen so I simply don't care about him.

I know what it is.
I was there at Botcon as I have been every year since 06. I don't really care what the name is either. It's got about as much character as Universe Acid Storm, meaning none. I just like cool toys in cool decos.
I really don't think we're going to be waiting a year plus for the reveal or leak of who that 7th figure is either. It'd be silly to think they'd wait that long to toot their own horn. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

::EDIT:: I'm also reading through the discussion on the Allspark. Some fun ideas in there. Oil Slick from RTS Wreck-Gar? I would be so quick to buy that. I have every use of the mold so far and love it.
