Free web editor?

Ok now I was looking into getting myself a not too complex free website editor.
I would love something that works kinda like MS front page so that I can work on it like on a image editor but fine tune it in the code. It should be able to work with XHTML and CSS.
Is there one for Mac?
Would be cool if you could help me out. Thanks in advance.

There used to be, not sure if they still have it available and what it is compatible with...

But it's called Composer, made by the people who brought you Mozilla/Firefox.

I used it about maybe 3-4 years ago, worked pretty good at that time for what I need it for.
