This is something I do not understand. Why cant the toys be sold to and marketed for adults? I dont think there will be much of a chance for G1 reissues hitting your local Target or WalMart shelves n-e ways. If I want to shoot myself with a spring loaded missle launcher on Wheeljack or choke myself on Optimus's missles then so be it. Let me make that decision. But to not re-release these toys seems like a lost opportunity for Takara and Hasbro. I dont think it would be hard to remake the toys or reverse engineer them either. They are a toy company after all  I understand that the toy companies are worried about liability and all that but people are such pansies these days pretty soon nothing will be possible. It is amazing how many of us played with the Transformers when we were little and never died while playing with them. BTW how does one come up with the idea that Blaster was a remake of Soundwave?

No one said that.

They said that Soundblaster was a remake of Soundwave and vise-versa.

Hear look up Soundblaster

Speaking of Broadcast/Blaster, it's been nearly two years since the Japanese re-issue and yet until now, no Hasbro version............why? Hasbro executives are idiots?

Hasbro gave up on reissues almost as soon as they started making them.

I was shocked to see Soundwave included in the callisis lineup

As Nolga mentioned, I also noticed that ever since the Star Convoy re-issue (which I so happily own), there is indeed some difference in the quality of the plastics used between the original. Probably used a more updated mixture, looking a bit cruddy and lighter in weight.

The older G1 1980's tended to crack easily, time will tell if the same holds true for the re-issues.

That's why I hate them so much, since they have no bricks & mortar store, all their TF's are sent out to members by post, so what does is matter if I'm in New Zealand rather than America?

I can't truly say that I understand your pain Craven Knight since I live in the states. But I don't blame you for being pissed and you'll never catch me saying "it's no big deal" or "buck up and deal with it". Alot of us fans are not rolling in dough so shelling out alot of money for a club membership can be painful to the wallet.

That's a rather controversial thing to say. There are alot of fans that feel burned (and rightfully so) on the exclusive Classics seekers. Trust me, the TFCC is NOT for the US only. It's just stupidly expensive for anyone outside the US to be part of the club.

thanks for the clarification. if the seacons are a new colour set?? then theres still a chance of a reissue, well hopefully.

I would ditch that "hopefully" perspective if I were you. The entire reason the Seacons are going to be a club exclusive is because no retailer was willing to take them into their stores as an exclusive. I don't understand why Hasbro just couldn't make the set just part of the regular release Universe line at the time. I think the set would have sold marginally well and all of us would have had an inexpensive chance at getting the set.
