I saw this last night online and got it for like 10 bucks with shipping... is it a G1?

Could be. Any mention of it having a key ring loop?

I think its the Keyring one, notice the metal on the back, my bros Cj has it too, and it's a keyring.

I don't know about the price, I think you got screewed if it's the keyring thing, but if it's the real G1 thing you made a bargain!

Really need a photo of it taken from the other side. If it's the keyring, the plastic quality isn't up to the standard of the originals. At least, not if my keyring CJ is anything to go by.

How much would it be worth for a CJ one unopened?

I don't think that's the keyring version. My KR BB has an Autobot sticker, not a rub-sign.

Same with CliffJumper.

The seller said its not a key ring, he had it in his collection for years. I just wasnt sure if it was a g1 or newer?

It is original G1. The keyring has a piece of plastic that sticks out.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.

Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.

Yup, definitely G1. Doesn't appear to have keyring, and has the rubsign.

I'm not even sure what this means... there wasn't even a Bumblebee in RiD. And the only G2 Bumblebees were the Go-Bot and the chromed gold G1 recolour.

It looks like a G1 to me but..........I'm not sure about this and maybe you guys can answer this .......I dont remember Bumblebee being produced with the second year toyline. At least I never saw any in the store's after his first run between 84 and early 85, the reason I ask is because the rub signs only came into play mid 85 and when the year 2 figures first started coming out.And as far as I remember the market was flooded with Bumblebee's and a few other mimi bots so some of them werent produced for the 2nd year.So this is the first time I see a G1 BB with a rub sign......if its a G1.

For what it's worth, I have a red Bumblebee from my childhood that has the rubsign.

I just found these on this site, http://www.transformerland.com/store/search3.php?LU=1

Go about half way down the page, he says those are G1's and they have a rub sign to.

I could be wrong..........but those pic's prove nothing.Look at the description for the figure's you pointed out....here I'll paste it.

G1 (US) Minivehicles
(1984) Bumblebee Complete (yellow pre-rub variant), c9 (excellent)

G1 (US) Minivehicles
(1984) Bumblebee Complete (yellow pre-rub variant), c8-9 (light chrome wear on head, heavy wear on autobot symbol, arms loose, otherwise nice)

The both claim to be pre rubs but show pic's of one with rubs????
I could be wrong but you cant prove anything with those figures......and besides anybody selling ther could advertise heir toy anyway they like as is showen by the ones you pointed out.

Yeah I noticed that right after I posted, but everyone who has a keychain version says its not a keychain, and then theres a split kinda on if its a G1 or not lol..

I have bought from the guy before and he never lied to me about anything so I trust him when he says its not a key chain.

I just wonder if its a G1 or a "2nd wave" G1... if you know what I mean?

It would have to be a 2nd wave or 2nd year because none of the 1st waves had rubsigns. But even if its a 2nd wave or 2nd year its still a G1.
