Bruticus doesn't have the metal in the reissue. The only other thing I can think of is the rare G1 Prime trailer that had metal plates in it. I don't think any of the reissues have that. That's a rarity to begin with anyway.

Amelie wrote:They can't reissue Shockwave. They don't own the rights to the mold - it wasn't a Takara or Hasbro design to begin with.

So yes, Takara do own the rights to the toy.

Jazz-1982 wrote:Put me down for reissues of all the characters you listed there too and a Scorponok of my own as I don't own him. Chances of any of them are probably slim unfortunately but here's hoping anyway.
I really hope that's not true about Shockwave as he was easily one of the best G1 toys and indeed one of the best Transformers toys ever, except for that fragile rubber tube.
Really wish HasTak would give us some kind of clarification about Transformers that they will never remake (even though the KO companies have the ability to remake them).
Jazz-1982 wrote:Same here. Scorponok or Trypticon would be good reissues if they do decide to bring out more of the big guys.
The Encore line was superb and then it just stopped. With no announcement or anything.
Encore line 2 would be superb if it was anything like as good.
Blurrz wrote:Takara can pull the trigger on reissues whenever they want to. They're a lot lesser busier than Hasbro because they don't have to release kidtoys like Activators and the works.
Reissues are coming, trust me. I'm not someone who's going to troll members of this site with false info.
