My twin Brother and I are in a dispute! Metal or no metal??
Were they all plastic? Or did they contain some metal? I'm taliking about the original G1. I keep thinking Wheeljack had some metal in the leg area????
We keep going back and forth on this one.

Early G1 figures (Prime, Autobot cars, Megatron, the Seekers, and some later figures) were part diecast metal.

Yup, they had die-cast metal parts until the 3rd season. Halfway through the season, figures were reissued with plastic parts to save costs. That's why some figures have plastic and some do not.
The Predacons are a great example. The first wave had metal. The second wave had only plastic.
Now that you know, you can stop fighting and do more constructive things like developing your telepathic abilities as twins.

A capital idea! Please get back to us when one of you can turn into a puddle of water and the other can take the shape of a muskrat.

Actually, that's transmogrification.
Telepathy is mental transmission and reception of thoughts.
Oh and yeah... what everyone else said about the G1 figures.

Some of where your confusion may lie is that a few of the minibots were very limited in terms of their diecast parts, even the early ones.
And know I know this is a Transformers board, but I grew up a GI Joe fan as well and I'm rooting for you guys to do the Crimson Twin thing.
Like if I hit one of you, the other would fall over in pain.
Whoops, that was unintentionally mean.

Yeah, I don't think any of them had metal, save for the backs of Cliffjumper/Bumblebee/Bumper.
Also, to stop another arguement before it begins, most GoBots had metal, even to the very end.

Hopefully you two arn't siamese twins, cause fights over stuff like this can become very sticky situations. Sorry, I had to say it.
