Neither because there both the same being. Heck Galvatron and Silver Surfer used to have regular arm wrestling contests. 
Heck if Unicron appeared over earth and human who never heard of him but, heard of Galactus they would see Galactus or vice versa.

I'm a child of the 1970s & 1980s. Galactus was first shown in the 1960s. He is prehistoric to me. Unicron wins.
I love the 1986 movie because it starts with mass genocide. Imagine doing that these days with a children's movie!
