Do you collect other toys besides Transformers? Maybe you've got a Masters of the Universe collection you'd like to show off, or maybe you like Thundercats, Voltron, G.I.Joe, Power Rangers, Star Wars, Wrestling, or any of the various comic book toy lines. Please keep the discussions here to non-Transformers toy lines.

Probably in HOF Wave 2 since we still need a Duke and CC.
What about the DVD set version? I thought that one was alright, but don't remember it being significantly changed from any of the others.
The DVD pack version (weather dominator) is the best v1 Destro yet, but he doesn't come with the briefcase and to get him you have to buy the pack.
Still, best Destro yet.

Got the Target exclusive Tiger Rat (Tigerforce Rattler repaint), and the Target exclusive Python Patrol Conquest X-30 in the mail today. Target online, I thank you!
Not opening them yet, may get a second Conquest because I like the Python Patrol Viper...

Cool but I wasn't into either of those series of figures. Saving my money for the vehicle pack next month with the stinger and Hiss tank arctic version.

I'd like to get an Tiger Rat soon, but I already have an pristine vintage PP Conquest, so I'm not sure I'll get one of those. I might buy the Vipers loose off eBay though. I wish they had been single carded as I don't really have the money or space to buy a bunch of those jets.
Oh and
here's the new and awesome movie Destro. I need this one.

He's okay. I'm not a huge fan, and I feel like the mask is going to look so bad on the big screen. Not liking the Nazi-esque uniform either.

I like him better without the mask in his business suit, but I'm sure there will be people who just love this version.

Still had bad hands. I could never get the original 25th Rattler and Conquest so I doubt I'll ever see these. I do have an original Tiger Rat by the by.
So I e-mailed Hasbro about Doc and they told me they have no record of my order. I sent them the address it was supposed to be sent to and we'll go from there. I might have to send them a copy of the canceled checks but we'll see if I can get those.

Origins is off to a great start. The first issue of the main Joe book was bad, I've yet to read the other two. Has the Cobra book started?

I beleave it should be any week now that the cobra book starts and as far as the main joe book goes, I think it will get better with time I just think there trying to build a fan base outside of the loyal joe fandom.

I don't have the time or the $$$ to collect a regular series but I figure I'll grab a trade or two but the problem is for me the cannon has always been the toon. Nobody dies and CC is constantly having a melt down about how stupid everyone is compared to him. By the by did anyone else not get updates for a few days? If I didn't check in manually I would've never known this thread was added to.

This is a TF site that happens to have Joe fans on it. He was supposed to start a Joe site as he is a big fan of the line too but IDK what happened with that. Personally, after reading what a fluffer job the Q&A's have become as we draw closer to the movie I really wouldn't want to see us on the list.
Anybody have problems with 25th Airbornes pack? On my figure the hole is to small and it just won't fit. I've had that problem in real life but not with the figures. Other than that great fig. Blowtorch is cool too but he can't hold the thrower with both hands like on the box.

The peg didn't fit in mine either, but I think that's because of the vest. If you play around you can slide it in, but the peg on mine's kind of ugly now...

Ya know I tried but I'm just so afraid of it breaking since it's such a cool figure. His rifle is so cool, could be a spare for the siegies ya know?

I don't think these have been brought up here before, and if they have I'm sorry but:
1) Has Hasbro said anything about a figure release for the Phoenix Guard from the Devil's Due comic? I thought it was a fun concept, and figures would be neat.
2) With the OTFCC storyline moving to the Shattered Glass Earth, what should the joe-cobra conflict be like there?
Joes as the specialist army proteting a facist or corrupt government where Duke took command by assasinating General Hawk? Flint always looking for an opertunity to take command?
Cobra made up of revolutionaries trying to make the world a better place? Destro supporting them while running the world-wide charity M.A.R.S. Miricles Are Rewarding Service? Serpentor created to lead made from the DNA of histories greatest uniters and leaders?

Just found this on hisstank. Not of the toyline but it's related. Hasbro's giving it another go with the RAH series on DVD and releasing the first part of season 1 on DVD in July.
http://www.hisstank.com/gi-joe-news/all-gi-joe-news-1/gi-joe-sunbow-series-coming-to-dvd-8112/I imagine most of the set will include what we've gotten already in the DVD packs. (The Mass Device, Revenge of Cobra, and The Pyramid of Darkness mini series') Then we'll get some of the earlier full TV series regular episodes.
Honestly, with the movie and Resolute coming, I'm not surprised by this. Hasbro is really trying to revive the franchise to it's glory days.

I hope so. It was a strong number two to Transformers although I felt the toon was better written. I guess I shouldn't rush out and buy that complete Joe series now.

dude you mean the Best of 80's set. It's out there I've seen it a few times. I don't want to say it's been short packed but it's low in the asortment.
