You could always use a Helix head as the hair is messy and with some painted stubble/douchebag facial hair, you could pull it off. Or just use a movie duke since the douchebag face is perfect already!

I was thinking more a helmet as it is a Viper, but Duke could work, But I would need a scale Dr. Suess Hat.

I was wondering what figures people have in there sights for the next purchase since it seems most everyone has got the hard to find pitt commando.
Dragonhawk.
I finally had a chance to open mine. It's a tad small and obviously is no Mamba or Tomahawk, but it is a fairly good representation of a modern/upgrade to the Dragonfly.
There's not much to it, but it is cool, weird missile firing gimmick, and I don't really want another Wild Bill, but hey, whatever.
Worth a purchase.
Cobra Crimson Plane is cool, and reminds me of a Stilletto, the Cobra space jet. I also believe that the pilot is a very faithful representation/25th version of another cobra pilot, just can't name him off the top of my head.

I like Helix enough that all I plan to do is paint over the movie joe logo and replace it with a Cobra sticker if I can find one that fits. Now if I go for the set with Dail-Tone, yhea I'm going to try to give her a better look, possibly similar to what I'm planning for the RaveViper.

I just figured out who the resolute comic two pack storm shadow reminds me of is marvel comics Silver Samurai. My friend has him and every time I look at him I would think to myself why does he look so familar, so today as I was watching wolverine and the x-men he was there he was and hit me like a bolt of lighting that who he reminds me of.

Same mold? Warning about Target Grand Slam, the holes in the bottom of his boots are to big to hold the pegs on his stand, his helmet fits loosely so be careful not to loose it.

Well I finally went ahead and purchased the Assault and Defense of Cobra Island multi-packs from smalljoes.com. They should be here early to mid next week. Now I just need to find set 5 0f 5 from the DVD battle packs. Part of me is thinking those of us that couldn't find them due to overstock of sets 1 and 2 need to get on Hasbro to put the remaining sets on their website for sale.

I doubt that would happen since that's not the product they're trying to move now.

Well I have seen the must have g.i. joe figure for 2010, I know how people have been saying when are they going to redo sgt. Slaughter well it has happened sort of the figures name is sgt. ball buster and I'm not making that up. I saw a carded version of it when I was looking for a preview of the movie figures coming 2010. He looks like sgt. Slaughter with the black tank top with the new joe logo on it and grey camo pants and the sgt. hat that the original slaughter figure wore with same trademark sun glasses.

If it ain't Bob Remus it ain't Sgt. Slaughter.
Now to continue our story,

Sgt. Stone was going to save Duke, then he was told who was playing him in the movie. I can't post his response but it's along the lines of Puck Soft.

Hey look. It's lips McGee and Big Red. They were able to pull themselves off each other to be of some use.

Yeah, that worked well. See there's a problem, actually two. 1) Ninja's don't exist, especially in a modern military setting. 2) Young women with flowing red hair look real good to lonely nameless troops who have been far from home for awhile. Scarlett is about to have a flashback to college... not in a good way.

So I looked through the pics from Joe Con and I gotta ask, does Hasbro ever learn? Wal-Mart gets two packs great, except they're doing the same thing they did 7 years ago and are mixing named characters with troop builders. Add in the 5-pack with Zartan and it makes you go WTF! Did get me thinking about what if they did vehicle builder sets. On one hand it would be really easy to get vehicles like the trouble bubble and CLAW. On the other hand Hasbro has never been able to put 5 identical items in a box so we would probably end up with 4 white and 1 black or 1 red CLAW. Hmm, a red CLAW? Crimson CLAW? Awesome with a side of oh yeah.

Re: GI Joe Fans Unite-- 25th Anniversary Fig Talk and More!
Sounds cool but it would most likely end up being the blue trouble bubble that came in the vehicle pack with red hiss tank and mobat tank. So has anyone seen the Red Fang Ninja form the rise of cobra toy line it looks like they just took head of a cobra trooper with hair and stuck it on the body of elite viper with some new accessories.

Heads up, hosers! According to the gang at JoeCanuck, the Pit Commando wave has been spotted at walmart, where single-carded figs cost $5. I haven't seen them yet, though, but other people have!

No, I ordered the sets through the cliub as a non-attending member. I've ebayed prices for it and the other guys, and it is more than I am willing to pay at this time. I'm pretty good with what I got.

I think the best BIN price was $59.99, which isn't too bad, but it isn't the best toy either. The dude has 7 left...
