Just like my Soundwave, I've waited a very long time to have an official Starscream.
Here's a pic of my KO "Kingdom 6" F-15 figure with some rub signs I put on back in 1984 along side the new Encore box.
Future purchases may be some reissue seekers as I never had Skywarp or Thundercracker. I'm definitely getting the the US Masterpiece Starscream when that comes out!

Nice. Do you plan on keeping it In-Box, or will your KO have
a friend?
a friend?

Nah, the Encore stays mint in the box for the foreseeable future. For some reason I always loved the look of Transformers inside the box. That's why I saved ALL the boxes of my original G1 collection. Even though they're beat up, it's still nice to see them displayed that way.
Once I get MP Starscream though, now that's a different story!

That isn't too bad a KO.
You should try and get the Robot Masters Thundercracker/Skywarp 2 pack, it's a great little set.

Yea the Encore figures are very nice...they are just sooooo crisp. I got all 4 of them, but I had to open Prime and Megatron and I am undecided on Soundwave so he is minty for now. But as for Starscream... I have so many G1 Starscreams that I am keeping it in the box mint. They just look great in package.

The encores are something pretty. Not the same deal, but the Classics Reissue of Soundwave I've got will be getting an in-box counter part. It just looks so spectacular (not a word I use often).
