I woke up this morning to find that all of G1 season 1 has been uploaded to the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel. They don't have them in a playlist yet, and they are listed out of order on their channel, but hay, free to watch G1.

The Rebirth is up now, which gets us through the entirety of the Marvel/Sunbow series. It would be cool if they also made the Japanese series available especially to promote Haslab Victory Saber, bit we shall see.
I was disappointed to remember that no only did the old Rhino DVD have the wrong intro to FFOD, bit the S!F DVD did as well. Well episodes 3 and 5 have the correct intro, but syncd to the wrong audio. In there any physical media or streaming version that has the correct intro for the entirety of Five Faces of Darkness?

I don't think I've ever seen different intros for those episodes. I still have an old VHS from the 80s of the 5-parter presented as a miniseries sequel to TF:TM. I'll have to compare that to the newer versions. What are the differences?o.supreme wrote:The Rebirth is up now, which gets us through the entirety of the Marvel/Sunbow series. Here is the correct FFOD intro with the correct audio. None of the DVD or streaming versions have this
(like I said before episodes 3&5 have the right video, but the audio is the regular season 3 opening, which doesn't match up)
I could be mistaken, but the last time I think this intro aired correctly would haver been on the sci-fi channel in the mid 90's, although for all of season 1& 2, they used the S2 intro with the S3 music, which was used in later reruns. I didn't watch Original TF episodes if they aired on The Hub, because by then I already had them all on DVD.

This is very handy. If only YouTube didn't have a campaign against ad blockers right now (2023)! I switched to Ad Skipper. It's free and YouTube hasn't banned it... yet.
