Anyone get one yet? Id love to hear some thoughts on it, possibly a review. Anything to hold me over until I get mine.
I have mine sitting w/ my POL that I am painfully holding off shipping until the rest of those damn FP insecticons become available.

So, like I said this set came today.
I like it a lot. The head comes off pretty easily, but you will need a screwdriver with a long narrow shaft *snicker snicker* and the head will seem like it will not turn enough, and you just have to force it a little bit for it to turn enough.
Two screws come out, and the head comes apart in two halves.
New had just snaps into place. I didn't transform it, but it doesn't look like it would be a problem, and you could just remove the head.
The extra piece, in the long sword pic, that serves as the replacement for the tank barrel front is a nice touch. The mirror finish looks good on the swords, a huge improvement to the Hasbro grey plastic.

A couple more shots. I'm no great photographer but they will do the job!
oh, and by the way, the long sword doesn't fit quite as snug as the short sword, and neither are as snug as the Hasbro sword, but they stay where you put them, so no more hand stress mark worries!

Agreed. Although I may hold out for MP-10 & Heavylabor before shipping.
Thanks for the quick review B. I think I will display mine in IDW style.

QUALITY CONTROL ISSUES ANYONE?????
Here are mine. Pretty annoying.
1) The crest broke off the first time i put the head on.
Minimal pressure. I had to super glue it back on which worked fairly well. Since Bludgeon can be prone to falling over, id be wary of this.
2) The "turret tip" does not fit snugly on the sword handle AT ALL. it spins freely and will easily fall off.
3) you have to push the blade in pretty hard to get it flush against the turret. As peaugh said, this might wear over time.
On the up side I found out that the old Bludgeon swords fit PERFECTLY into Generations darkmount/skullgin's hands (even better than the pick axe). It is so perfect that it makes me wonder if hasbro did that on purpose somehow.
