CC BB? Leader Prime? Ironhide?

Do you honestly think these 3 figures suck? Well, you didn't say "95% of the movie line sucks" ... so I guess you don't like 'em.

:-?

I honestly think CC BB and 08 BB suck.

Aren't they the same chap? Or do you mean "CC" as in "Classic Camaro"?

Both BBs. I hate them both. One of them was a man with six fingers.....

Armada had the right idea, Energon was for the most part solid, and Cybertron had very few stinkers. Classics was damn near perfect, minus Grimlock's arms and Magnus being a repaint again...but hey, Universe 2.0 is on the horizon and if the boys at Hasbro keep learning from their success, that's going to be one helluva good line.

I'm with you there. I think they've improved with every major series in the last few years.

Which makes a nice change from G1, which IMO started out very strong and got progressively worse. Transformers in the eighties was treated as a fad that started out with a bang, then faded away a little more every year. Transformers post-millenium has built on it's successes with each passing year. They've surpassed all expectations I had as a kid in the eighties.

I have figures I like in all series. While Armada is far from my favorite line; I would say the issue in dispute is whether line line as a whole sucked. I would contend that there were some pretty amazing deluxes such as Blurr, Bendy Prime. and Hoist. I also enjoyed Armada Megatron, Tidalwave and Jetfire. The Powerlinx gimmick in Energon was novel at the time and certainly helped with playability at the expense of hiding kibble and the like. Cybertron and Classics were both fantastic lines from top to bottom.

Throughout the past few years, my opinions on Transformers figures have changed over time. Somethimes there are figures that come out that are immediate must haves, such as Armada Unicron, MP Prime, etc... Each line has a variety to offer. Sometimes, figures I initially dismissed as god-awful ugly really grew on me and I like them much more after I get used to them. One case in point is pretty much the entire Beast Wars or movie line (I once hated both, now Beast Wars is my 2nd favorite).

There are no figures in my collection that I am ashamed of, but there are figures in my collection that I hated the first time I saw it. Sometimes I have purchased the mediocre figures only becuase there was nothing new on the shelves for so long I caved in and got it. Most Transformers are pretty good (in my opinion) but you may have to give them a chance.

I don't have that many yet, but I can say Brawl sucks from the 2007 TFTM series.

I really like the G1 stuff the best, and even the worst of those are better to me then 1/4 of the new stuff that has come out in the last few years.

Thats just my opinion though...
