I vote Coolpop for awesomest collection on Seibertron!
Say it with me: COOLPOP!! COOLPOP!! COOLPOP!!
Anyways, I spent about $60 CDN for my WST Soundwave shipped, and I'm not really willing to pay more than that. They're only really worth $5 each. $10-15 is reasonable, anything more and it's too much.

Thanks Kirb & Bong. My WST collection is not worthy, there are others with even more complete/impressive WST collections on Seibertron, I wish I could see their collections too.
Cheers,

Did you get all your Convoy trailers from Ebay? Or do you know any online stores that have them?
Rob, congratz on your very first set of WST figures.
I got all my trailers from eBay except Coke trailer was from Agesthreeandup. Also most of my trailers are KOs, but they look 95% close to official Takara's, highly acceptable. Please see my KO vs. Official WST trailer post below:

Good luck building up your WST empire!

I doubt I would ever get around to aquiring a full range of trailers. However, I think its time you added some of the clear OPs.

Perhaps down the road I might. However I've never been a big fan of clear figure variant, especially on convoys. There's actually one custom clear/transparent convoy+trailer I might consider getting, it's different because it's match-painted with chrome & details, etc. Again it's another great custom work by Mirage. Below are a few pics:

If I had a camera that worked, I'd post pics of the "diaclone" city commander ultra magnus (with trailer/armor) and anime accurate ultra magnus, along with roughly the same number of trailers, seeker variants, (including an authentic skywarp and thundercracker), authentic wave 1, and 2.5 trailers, red bumblebee, hot rod, etc. (all official releases, as well as many of those customs and then a megatron with full attachments that can clip onto him or form the cannon seperately.)coolpop wrote:kirbenvost wrote:I vote Coolpop for awesomest collection on Seibertron!![]()

Yes, WST Soundwave's chest can open/close for mini Ravage cassette storage, his back panel also opens/closes for battery/weapon storage.
Cool.

Section shot of seekers:
I see that, like me, you are still waiting on the arrival of your solid-colored Skywarp and Sunstorm (which I assume you picked up from heerostoymaker when he made them available last week). ;D I should really do a group shot of my WSTs.
I've managed to mostly stay away from the Primes and the trailer variants (though I did break down and pick up the G2 version) because Prime is way too small in relation to the size of the rest of the WST cars (which are, btw, VERY close to HO model railroading scale)... by my calculations, THS-02 Hybrid Convoy is about the right relative size. (Yes,
I do realize that, truthfully, a Seeker/F-15 should be much larger in relation to the WST cars as well, but I had to draw the line somewhere.) THS-02 Convoy and Titanium Magnus look pretty awesome with WSTs:

(Luckily, this keeps me from fiending too hard for the WST Magnus trailer, though passing up Arcee, Cyclonus, Stepper and Wheelie has been kind of difficult.)
I'm also working on replacing the cab on Titanium Magnus with a more accurate one (from an HO-scale Freightliner model), so he and THS Convoy match better.

Auto Bot wrote:WST Autobots together with regular size G1 Seekers, should be the nearer the correct scale match.
Smallest Sideswipe is about 1/87 scale and G1 Starscream is 1/93 scale, so yeah, pretty close.
Some other toys close to scale with Smallest Sideswipe are Cybertron Quickmix, Movie Voyager Blackout, Cybertron Menasor and G1 Darkwing.
Of course Smallest Starscream is scalled much smaller, but he's nearly identical in scale to G1 Powerglide. I did the math, and if he's the size of a real A-10 then Powerclide would stand about 65 feet tall in robot mode.

Imagine that, if G1 cartoon were all in the correct scale. We'll be seeing tiny Autobots battling gigantic Decepticons all the time.
And that's not counting Devastator yet.

Just can't get enough of these little guys, the more the merrier. Doesn't a huge number of these small figures lined up nicely together create a special presence of authority?

You got it right meta, I've been waiting for more solid seeker figures from heerostoymaker, he's very nice to deal with. Looking forward to see your WST group shot soon. Thanks bro!

Yes please post your WST soundwave/ravage pics, and share with us your WST collection as well if you would. Thanks bro!

Can you also post a pic of Ravage getting inside Soundwave's chest? Like, partially inserted.

Yup! It looks like a cute little army.

How about posing them all in robot mode?

OK, let me snap some pics and I'll put them up in a bit. Soundwave has some die-cast content(feet) BTW as do most of the Takara WST. He's getting hard to find and expensive.
I also have WST Starscreams Ghost which is pretty freaking sweet.
