How would I go about switching Skywarp's and Starscream's heads?

Postby Chris Bot » Tue Feb 27, 2007 3:33 pm

I just got the 2 pack with Faux Magnus only really with the alterior motive of switching the seekers' heads like I saw in a thread in this forum. Cuz you know, Skywarp got the good detailing that Screamer should've gotten.

Here I am thinking its gonna be a simple pop n' switch job like a bunch of the other figures, but it looks like I'll have to dismantle the whole nose cone piece.

Any help on how and what tools to use cuz I ain't handy at all?

Lookin at mine, I'd say all you have to do is take out the two screws in the cockpit section, which should then come apart pretty easily, then swap heads and reasemble.

Easier to just touch Screamer up with some paint if you ask me. I got out a little silver paint, a little red, and some black, and voila. Looks much better. Though I did have to resist the temptation to 'improve' everything.

Hmm? What else would you improve?

Painting faction symbols on the wings is aboot all I can think of.

I'm almost positive that there are pins which must be pushed through.

This can be difficult and if done wrong will cause damage to the figure.

Yoo Hoo! Seibertron! I summon you from the depths of Chicago to answer this query!
