Is the nose popping up when the legs are firmly attached? If that's the case then you need to open up the nose section and re-mesh the gears. If not you could try putting some clear nail polish in the holes to make a snugger fit.

1.) Transform him into vehicle/helicopter mode.
2.) Leave right arm as you would for robot mode.
3.) If you look at the cockpit, you'll see screws (3 I think) remove them, along with the panel and you'll see a bunch of gears.
4.) Get the legs in the correct position (lock them in place in vehicle mode), put the head as it's supposed to go in vehicle mode, and then line up the teeth of the gears.
5.) Put the panel and screws back in place, and he'll be fixed.
The waist will still be somewhat loose, but that's a common flaw with the figure. His head (before this fix) also didn't want to lock into place for vehicle mode.

Dude, open it up and get the gears to realign. It takes about two minutes. Just make sure that you have a small phillips head screwdriver.
