TRU on Butterfield Rd in Downers Grove had a couple each (except Bumblebee) of the new RiD Warriors this morning. I grabbed Strongarm and Steeljaw. Also had the Legions, I bought Optimus and Strongarm.

Quickie reviews: Warrior Strongarm does interesting things with her kibble in bot mode, but in alt mode she's very hollow underneath, like she's hiding under a table. Warrior Steeljaw has an awesome alt mode, and his bot mode is pretty cool, w/ a nice wolf feel, but his feet are terrible, not even flat underneath, so you usually have to use his tail to stand him up. But you can also balance him without the tail in certain poses. The faction logos are stickers.

amazing fantasy books and comics in Frankfort got the newest wave of generations figures with Arcee and Chromia. I picked up 1 of each. They had 2 left of each as of 1 pm on 12/20

My wife doesn't like me buying new toys so I have to be some what stealthy bringing in new figures. With that being said, I still have yet to bust open my new Chromia and Arcee figures. This is driving me nuts.

Toys r Us on butter field in Downers Grove has the new combiner wars legends figures. I picked up a powerglide and bombshell.

They had 1 left of bombshell, 2 each of windcharger and thundercracker.

Target by Peterson and Western in the city has the first wave of Combiner Wars deluxes. I just picked up all four of them.

They've also got the RID Deluxes.

I stopped by Rolling Meadows Meijer yesterday ... nothing left except a full set of the original Windblade wave with Jhiaxus, Nightbeat and Crosscut.

Checked up on Rolling Meadows Walmart this morning after stopping by yesterday ... still extremely slim pickings here (as in "don't bother"). I have been on the hunt for a new Chromia after dealing with a few issues with my Chromias (the one in my gallery actually has a custom paint job for her face which I amazingly was able to match after mixing blue and white paint together) and I wouldn't mind another Arcee to resolve a few issues with mine as well.

Higgins Target in Schaumburg had a decent selection of the new Robots In Disguise figures (Warrior, Legion, 1-Steps and Hyperchange) sans Warrior Class Bumblebee. Schaumburg TRU on Golf had the full selection of all classes of RID toys this morning plus a lone Combiner Wars Legends Windcharger. Nothing else worthy (unless your daughter is into Shopkins ... they had a bunch of the "Season 2" 5 packs).

Higgins Target was also in the midst of a MAJOR toy section reset. Minus the boys action figures and Playskool toy aisle, the toys section was a complete disaster and existed mostly in shopping carts while employees were doing inventory a la scanning each and individual product and possibly putting them in new aisles.

In addition, I forgot to post on my lack of sightings yesterday with Rosemont Target (watch out for gangster shootings at the apartments next door which took the life of an 8th grader last Friday in District 62 ... ack!!!), Golf Mill Target, TRU, and Walmart ... nothing at any of the stores except for the BS RID toys at the Targets (i.e. Hyperchange and 1-Steps).

This morning's failed Combiner Wars search results: Hillside Target was in the middle of a reset, no TFs on shelves at all. Why don't they do that overnight?

Yorktown had no CW either, but a nice selection of RiD15 1-Steps, Legends, Warriors, and 3-Steps.

Naperville Target had 1 Combiner Wars Optimus as of about 12:45. 24.99. No Silverbolt or Deluxes.

Willowbrook Target on 83 had a lot of RiD figures of all sizes but no combiner wars.

They also had a metric crap ton of last years marvel legends figures.

Toys r us on 75th in downers grove had a legends Thundercracker but no other combiner wars.
They had all of the warrior class RiD figures

target in Woodridge on 63rd and in Hodgkins on Jokiet rd follow the same pattern as all the other targets. Small selection of transformers with an obvious re shelving going on. Both stores had some RiD figures but no combined wars

The Woodridge Target did have an AoE snarl though

Walmart on Rt 53 and Lake St had 3 Combiner Wars Optimuses and 1 Silverbolt, which I bought. Others have seen the same at othe WMs, looks like that might be the place to look now.

Target at Yorktown Mall this morning had some of the new One-Step RiD15 figs- a couple each of Grimlock and Steeljaw, who looks pretty good BTW. And a single Fixit. I almost took him, but I want to see if my son likes these guys first.

BTW, there is no Fixit on the Sightings reporting page.

6 CW Optimus Primes and 2 Silvebolts at Rolling Meadows Walmart earlier this afternoon.

I grabbed the last RID 1-Step Grimlock at Rosemont Target ... bummed I missed out on Fixit and Steeljaw. If anyone sees them let me know. I'd like to grab them as soon as possible, especially since its our first Fixit figure.

I also saw 3 of the 6 Game Stop exclusive Loyal Subjects Transformers at the Rosemont Gamestop. I passed on both Red Alerts, Shrapnel and Prowl because they all had paint flaws.

Anyone see the Combiner Wars Leader Megatrons anywhere at their local TRU?
