Images of Unused Schemes for G1 Roadgrabber and Gunnrunner

Some interesting auctions have appeared on ebay. The auction were posted by ebay seller senuseret72. These auctions are interesting because they conatain are for repaints for G1 Roadgrabber and Gunnrunner. It is most likely these were unused prototype images intended for use in catalogs or some form of print media. You can view the images by clicking here and here.

Gunrunner was my favorite Transformer toy when I was little. I wish I still had it.

The missiles, car claws and heads are different. It's not the most drastic of differences, but these definately aren't the production versions.

I can't wait to do the galleries of Gunrunner and Roadgrabber. Roadgrabber was one of my favorites as a kid. Still love the Pretender concept as one of the best!

Looks more like sleeping pilots in a shell car for me.
Pretenders from 1989. Actually, they are awesome. There is a transforming figure that can sit in the vehicles, or use the vehiclle as a gun platform. The shells were treally fun as any pretender fit in there.
