I really like Ironhide, for such a tiny figure his transformation is pretty complex. His automorph is smart to watch and figure out.
I cant get his shoulder pads to angle up without flapping about but they do click into place when they are flat.
His knee joints do tend to swivel about a bit though.
I thought his eyes had been painted over, I couldnt get them to pipe.

Yeah he is great the only minus is that he got the same head problem that G1 Grimock when you see him from the side...But he is the greatest Ironhide ever made at the moment.

Both American and European football are known as "football" because they are played on foot rather than on horseback, as many games of the nobility were played when they were invented.

i bought ironhide last night. and i have to say i havent had this much trouble transforming a TF since E-omega supreme. i spent my whole break learning how to transform him back and forth. he is really not that bad. now all i need is ratchet and i will have all the movie autobots.

WTF?
Well Any Ways Ironhide Was Rather easy even without the directions. Except For His arms on the bottom those pissed me off.

I seem to have a good bit of luck getting everything to fall in place by getting the rear window locked to the bed. After its locked to the bed with those flaps that say 4x4, everything starts to fall into place with the roof and hood.

Almost every major piece on Ironhide locks into place somewhere. If you hit all those points, then he fits together nicely. I actually had no problem transforming mine the first time without instructions and it only took me about 5 minutes. From what I read not looking at the instructions probably helped! Of course, with Hasbro's decline in durability with this movie line, it is possible I lucked out and got a good Ironhide.

I think the instructions messed my Ironhide up a bit. The instructions say to flip the front bumper down and I kept pressing it and it eventually budged but I think it caused half of the front hood to be uneven with the other. It's not that bad since I can move the other half up a bit so they're both even.
I finally got everything to fit perfectly now. My main problem was how the crotch was adjusted and I got it in so it wasn't pressing against the roof which fixed everything.

Really, Ironhide is HARD to transform, but, like some people said, he's well worth it.
To Transformers veterans, like me, he's nothing special & not really hard to transform.
To me, his robot mode is quite fufilling to the 19.99 (29.99 in Canada) price point. I'd say it's one of those Voyager class figures that are great to some, confusing to others. My thought about this;
Ratchet=Ironhide
(They are both great figures, so that's why I made them equal)

I'm starting to lean towards not getting Ironhide, for the same reasons I HAVEN'T gotten Brawl. I hate a Transformer that has "issues". Should I get him guys?? BTW--right now it's hard to get him b/c I can't FIND the damn thing..

Ironhide is hard to transform AND he is the worst looking Autobot from the movie toys IMHO.
I hate his shoulders... The guy can't see s#!t and he is way too black! He would have made a good for something Decepticons with the way he looks and those guns.
Did you notice that he does have a 'plasma canon' and Megatron doesn't...

There's your problem, you followed the instructions. Honestly, the instructions were soo wrong in so many areas, it's not even funny.

That's what I'm saying in another post: Hasbro can't predict who likes what

For the longest time I've wondered why the heck we always had pretty wimply looking autobots whereas so many of the Decepticons looked really cool in alt mode: think Starscream and trio, Predacons, Combaticons. They all were pretty armed while the Autobots were too pacifist. Ironhide changes that

I have all the Voyager figures and I think he has the best automorph of the Voyager figures. I'm glad he was my very first purchase... if I'd bought another figure I might not have become so enthusiastic about "collect(ing) them all!"
