is this it for classics

with three deluxe wave and two waves for the minicons voyagers and ledgends out and alreadt in canada i'm begining to think and fear that classics is already done just as it began. i intend to pick up the last of it at the end of the month but i was so hoping for more, like a classics form of soundwave maybe. with star wars transformers being expanded and the movie toys not out for a few months it seams like it'll be a lul for a while.

Between the Titanium Soundwave and the G1 Soundwave reissue, there was already a considerable market saturation of the character.

More Classics are certainly plausible, given sales of the line, but nothing has been planned and 2007 seems wholly devoted to movie toys.

Classics like Alternators and all other side lines are on hiatus until after the movie. If they were successful they will be back late 07 maybe early 08. Otherwise they are over and done with.

But for the next 6 months it will be the movie campaign. And with the market saturation we are going to see I don't think there will be much room for any side lines anyway.
