Just got Inferno at Target! I really like this figure a lot. He looks great in both modes, and the paint apps on this one are spot-on. He was the only one left, so I am really glad I saw him. I will admit that he is a little bit loose, but oh well. that's ok.

Side note: Overload was there too, and i wish i would have passed on the Dropshot figure now. the color scheme on Overload looks a lot better to me.

I don't know. I went to TRU, Walmart, and Target. I was not expecting to find him. Actually, i was just out wasting time and seeing what was in stock. It had been a while since i checked out Target or TRU, so I just got kinda lucky! I wasn't even looking for him to be honest.

He's one of the last figures I'll be buying for a long long time.

I don't get this repaint...it doesn't look all that different from Dropshot. But I like Dropshot better, myself.

SentinelA, have you tried using your states sightings thread the theToy Sightings Forum? I've been using mine with fantastic results and saving both time and alot of gas money.

And if all else fails, take GetterDragun's advise with Hasbro Toy Shop.

I like Overload better in tank mode...But in bot mode I think it's looks silly...Dropshot wins that round (though I'm not crazy about him either...)

I still have yet to find me an Inferno as well...I NEVER imagined I'd have the latest wave of Legends before Inferno which has been out for several weeks now...

Ah well...I'll keep looking...He may be end up being the first current figure I actually have to order online...

Ordered Inferno and Leo Prime from HTS last night. Got tired of looking for them in the stores. Got them along with Overkill. HTS has pretty reasonable shipping!

I have not seen hide nor hair of Inferno around these parts. My wife bought him for me for Valentines day tho! Awwwww :grin:

But hey, I got her seasons one and two of She-Ra. Can't wait to get my hands on Inferno (Thursday)and witness the awesomeness first hand. I have been waiting for this one!

Finally got my grubby hands on a copy today. And I must admit, I'm highly impressed with him.

Oh, and I just noticed myself... you know those weird little white wing things G1/2 Inferno had on his shoulders beside his head? They're molded onto the rear / sides of this guy's head.

Well i didnt buy one of those ones you and me saw at Walmart because I bought Animated Safequard. Kinda regretting alot. I need help!
Should I keep Safeguard or send him for Inferno? Grr...

I got Inferno on Friday and I'm kind of torn. He looks nice in both modes and all, but I just can't seem to enjoy him as much as I think I'm supposed to. But hey, I hated Powerglide also, so what do you want from me really? His robot mode seems strange to me, it's something about the whole upper body that I just can't seem to wrap my head around. I keep staring at him and futzing with him, as if the problem lies in just not having my hands on him enough. Maybe it'll come to me eventually. Nevertheless, I am glad I bought him, as he does look pretty neat in the ol' display.

I ordered mine from HTS.
I got tired of looking and not finding him.

Of course after the parade last night I went into Target and they have Leo Prime so that means that they also had Inferno..

I was just about to do the same thing, but when i found him at Target I couldn't believe it. I was completely putzing around when I saw one stting there behind an Overload repaint. At first, I just thought it was that Inferno that has been out (the Toys R Us exclusive or whatever), because I just saw the top of it and saw the red color. Then when I realized what it was, I honestly didn't know what to think. It was a goofy/strange situation. I'm guessing I looked like a huge dork right then.

I would keep Safeguard and get Inferno when you can. You know he is going to be everywhere in droves before we know it. By the way, did you see those at Walmart North? I haven't been to the south WM for quite a while, since they got the North WM rearranged. North's toy section was kind of a joke a few months ago, but now it is all good!

That's probably true, as it seems to happen all the time. Inferno or Leo Prime or whatnot may be tough to find now but in time there'll be alot of them.

I agree. If I don't find something I like, it's always available eventually. I don't really sweat it.

Also, considering the price increase lately, HTS looks more and more inviting anyway. Their prices don't seem all that bad. I just really like going out and looking for this stuff-it isn't as much fun for me to order things online and then wait for them. That's just me though. However, HTS is a really good back-up plan when necessary.

I ordered Inferno from HTS and may start ordering more stuff from them too. Stores around here used to be good about keeping up with new TFUs but now they've kinda slacking off. They got the last set of deluxes w/ Dinobot and Smokescreen and nothing else(new). I don't know if I can count on these stores for the new Legends which I really want.

FINALLY found Inferno on the shelf today...Man I'm relieved...Been searching FOREVER now...

And that pretty much concludes my Universe colelction up to the current...I'll pick up a Vector Prime if I see one but I'm not sweating him too much...

i got inferno on monday from a tfw2005 member and i gotta say he's awsome he ties with Jetfire for best voyager. His fire truck mode is sweet too.

The alt mode is pretty spot on. There isn't really a lot of compromise in either mode, IMO.
