I think that his Auto-Morph..."feature" is that his arms can extend even longer. That's not a gimmick...that's a growth spurt.

Wow, I'm kinda suprised. I only had a problem with Brawl's arm tabs, which I don't mind much because I wasn't very hopeful in his toy, and Bumblebee's breaking tab, which doesn't bother me much, since I don't like the figure anyway.
However, I had had no problems with Swindle, Wreckage, Jazz, Barricade, Ironhide, Starscream, Bonecrusher,or Scorponok.

i have a problem with ironhide, small thing but its annoying. You know how the doors are supposed to fold inwards in robot mode, well, the left one is lose and doesnt stay folded, pisses me off.
starscream is fine (although the missile launchers are realyl sensitive, but I hate the look of the missiles anyway), and those are the only 2 movie figs I own so far

I had to post on this, because it's happened to mine too.
This will sound dumb, but it does appear to be an issue so try not to giggle my fellow droogs.
The transformation to put Megatron into Jet mode is so low on tolerance, that it seems to naturally cause some stress marks on the edges of the codpiece.
Look here at Megatron's groin: (shut up.)
http://www.seibertron.com/toys/fullsize.php?id=1275&size=2&image=120
Near the edges by the gold detailing, you can see the stressed corners.
This just seems to be a byproduct of the transformation, but it annoys me to all hell.
Also, I got Brawl with numerous defects in the plastic (pre-broken ball joints, stressed gun turret, etc).

From someone on a non-Transformers site:
Hey, I've recently bought Blackout and Brawl and right now I'm angry!! angry.gif
One of Brawl's turret side panels (next to the shoulder mount panel) got stripped-away plastic (I was able to see the pin) and heavy stress marks.
And on Blackout one of the white missile racks was missing.
Seriously, what's wrong with the quality control, Hasbro? angry.gif

I wish Ironhide voyager class had soem painted eyes, not just black protrusions from his head.
Also, I wish they detailed voyager Ratchets head as much as they detailed fast action battler ratchets head.. :\

After having all the toys for a while now (except the FAB...i refused to get them), I am overall disappointed in the entire movie line. Seems like they rushed the designs? I was excited and looked forward to them, but eh!
Barracade has the punch lock problem and does not like to stand up.
Brawl's shoulders will not lock in place.
The instructions for Blackout say to spin the Scorp cage, but that is wrong..mine DOES NOT turn.
Megatron.....wow, where to start...... Does not want to stand up. The "chain" string broke and the little beads went everywhere the first time I tried the gimmick. The first transformation was frustrating.
Jazz has awful arms....otherwise good.
Robovision Prime...ick.
I do like the real movie gear....they are nice! I just wish all the toys were that good!
Give me more Classsics!!!!!

Blackout too a while for me to figure out his Automorph, and doesn't hold too tightly in either mode. He's still awesome, though.

notice that there arent really any problems with voyager starscream. sure the missles fire off with the slightest touch of the button but thats not really a big deal. the only other thing is in his alt mode if you try to roll him, his arms arent very sturdy. but thats not a big problem since hes being used for display at my house.

One gripe I've had with these figures is that on the back of deluxe Bumblebee's packaging, it shows purple missles(or whatever you want to call them). However, their actual color is the same yellow as his body. Kind of lame.
Another issue I've had is the paint with the Real Gear figures. Like I posted in the thread I started, alot of Spy Shot's paint rubbed off while my son had him in his pocket. Very odd since we live in Buffalo. It doesn't really get that hot here for paint to start getting so warm it begins to melt.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the movie figures have that problem when they're in contact with a lot of friction. They tend to feel really oily, as if they never thoroughly cleaned off the mould-release, and if the paint is applied over that then there's going to be poor adhesion.

My leader class Primes right feet has some problems staying together when you use the automorph in the feet. I opened the feet to look inside it, well nothing broken, the problem was a little tap there was to small. Maybe i can post some pics later.

I picked up the Toys R Us 2-pack so I could have Blackout once again, and he's in a LOT better shape than the one I had before. I'm not really sure if this is a luck of the draw thing or the figure being held together better in robot mode(he DID seem to have a few more bands holding him together, I noticed). So that might be one way around the problem. It doesn't hurt that most TRUs will go ahead and give you the $5.00 Gift Card since it's just a penny away from $25, making Scorpy free, for all intents and purposes.
On the down side, finally got Bonecrusher, and his lower torso doesn't seem to hold together too well. I can hardly wait for the Voyager class on him.

I've got a problem with Starscream. His left arm pegs into his wing properly in robot mode, but his right wing won't because of the hip piece.
I know it's the hip that's causing the problem because if you fold that square piece in, the arm stays pegged into the wing. With the hip properly transformed, it pushes up on the bottom of the wing, dislodging the peg.
Essentially, his left arm looks and works fine, but his right arm sags because it can't be held in place. Anyone else run into this issue?
Thanks!

I understand that, but I still think it's dumb they show purple on the packaging, yet their actual color is yellow. And who said I had any problems transforming him?

What the problem usually is, is that they use photos of Takara's version of the toy for the back of the card. Then when Hasbro makes their version of the toy, you see the differences.
