Why? Same reasons you'd buy any other figure: you like the character, you like what you see in the galleries, you just want it, etc. I don't think we can give you the "why".

I always think of the last release of a particular mold to be the least well executed. The mold generally suffers from loose joints, poor paint applications (anyone remember the paint applications on the RID brothers after the 3rd of 4th outing?).
I still want to get Skywarp (IMO the best executed of the seekers) but I will get Thundercracker too as it's a good mold.
