The forecast kept me home. I probably could have made it early, but it just wasn't worth the risk on 70+ miles each way.
(Highbeam, I still have some stuff for you for whenever we manage to meet up!)
You made the right decision. The snow started strong in that area sometime around 2 PM. We hit it about ten minutes from home on the way to my cousin's wedding. That was driving into it (west). We left around 7 PM from the hotel and the roads were barely drive-able. Granted we were in a Focus, but the low gear did the job when needed, and unlike some heavier vehicles, we never got stuck, though even in better road conditions in regular drive we could not go more than 25 mph. It's been a while since I've been in a mess like that, glad I wasn't the one driving.

With all those ids rubbing together, I imagine it'll be quite freudian.
crap. misspelling sucks. the show was pretty good. did very well.
Only for the misspeller!

Glad the show went well for you.
Happy Birthday to my fellow 30+ year Bots and Cons or wherever your allegiances lie.

On the subject of looking older, even with my beard I still get carded, so hopefully in ten years I'll still look ten years younger, but probably with less hair.
