Still don't know how it's possible to "appreciate" these Micromaster wannabes.

Weapon: Laser Scalpel
easy
1) they don't take space
2) they are very affordable, esp. in this bad economy
3) they can attach to a larger transformer kind of like the cassettes of Soundwave and Blaster but with less limitations
4) they can go with you in your pocket, to your job in your car
5) they make nice decorations by your desktop, tv, night lamp

Well, it's true that all the US release are actually fairly cheap.

Then again there aren't a whole lot of US release Mini-Cons. This leaves people looking for the Japanese releases, which are all very expensive when you consider the mark-up percentage.

Now of course you don't have to bother with them, but the Japanese versions are usually very interesting.

The Fire Saber will run you around $45 now. Coffee Mini-Cons are about $30 for the set. Store exclusive Mini-Cons range from $30-$65 a piece.

I was a bit coy before in my response, but just wait till you look into the expanded case of Mini-Cons. It's a trek is absurd spending.

Man, I had no idea about the Japanese minicon market.

Japan is an expert with smaller toys (space conservation), capsule toys, and such.

coffee mincons???!!

man I gotta do some research!

thanks for telling!

Careful, you're heading down a dark and dangerous road that is very expensive.

Yea, but if you go down that road, you get to be in the gang...

I wish I could be a mini-con junkie, but it's hard with college expenses. It's also really hard for me to get a hold of trading figures.
