I have been stopping into TARGET, TOYS R US and WAL MART stores whenever I can. Checking the websites everyday. But the only place I can find these new toys are on EBAY and frankly I'm getting pretty sick and tired of having to pay three times the price and being raked over the coals with shipping costs. I know I dont have to by them but I'm so anxious. Anyhow, what is the usual process when these toys are released. Are they shipped once or twice and are they all released in limited numbers. If you dont get them soon after release is it probably safe to assume you will never get them in the stores . I read day after day that these new toys are popping up in stores but the stores I go to are just empty racks and shelves. Maybe someone or a few of you could share with me your experience when it comes to securing these toys when they are released. And do you think they are going to rerelease some of the CYBERTRON series toys, I've got the big PRIME, METROPLEX, Menasaur, Cybertron Primus, Quickmix but I really want to get my hands on the big Megatron and Galvatron figures but I dont want to pay 90$ for them on ebay. Any info would be appreciated.
Are the new ones, ie Payload, Longarm, Dropkick, Ratchet Repaint, etc... going to be exclusive to a certain retail chain?
You Need to just be patient, once a toy starts showing up all over Ebay in-mass, it will be in retail soon, you just gotta be patient.
Trust me this is coming from a guy who's sacraficed a weeks worth of food money for some new bots on way more than one occasion.
Also, don't be afraid to search general LOTS, as alot of times you'll find the figure you want just mixed in with a bunch of others.
Case in point, BW RatTrap alone goes for about $60-$75 loose, I got him in a bulk lot of 8 for around $20, and that included 7 other bots!
As for past toylines, I recomend waiting for the movie hype to die as it has online TF costs at a rediculious high. But once it's over, those costs will deminish along with demand.
But in short, just take a deep breath and wait. I'm dying for a Voyager Megatron right now, but I know if I do shell out for the Ebay cost of way to much, I'll find it on a shelf before it even arrives for half the price.
It's just the way it goes.

I likes, and will definetly buy:
Longarm
Payload
Dropkick looks a lil off, but he may just be mistransformed, this being Hasbro and all.
And Ratchet still looks off to me.
Why the hell, on a leader class transformer, is his head visible in both modes?!

I think leader Brawl looks incredible. The clear parts are actually lights--I'm sure everyone knows that by now, but I'm just putting that out there.. I do think it's pretty damn hilarious how Hasbro keeps displaying slightly mis-transformed pics on their site. The head sticking out of Brawl is not a big deal to me--a simple mistake--but Dreadwings..umm..wang? ..is kind of disturbing. He looks awful, IMHO. To me it's like giving a fighter jet cast to, umm, William Hung?? ..and asking him to design a robot out of it?? Absolutely hideous... Oh--and the first few words of his description on their site--"Dreadwing isn't terribly intelligent." Classic.

You know it's funny but I almost find their not knowing how to transform their own product comforting. Knowing that we know their product better than they do makes me feel smart. So, give that guy in charge of diaplaying tf's for pictures a raise Hasbro. They should do a real men of genius commercial for that guy. He's great!
