A guy on Ebay is selling the set for $50.

I should mention the kit comes with longer screws to accommodate the blue gun stations.

Is this an upgrade kit for the JustiToys version of the Masterpiece Trailer?

The JustiToys trailer isn't transformable.
This is a different(and bigger) KO trailer. Comes with roller and all the other accessories.

Thanks for the pics! If I hadn't already had the Justitoys trailer for quite some time, I'd consider it. My only complaint about the trailer is actually that it is such a straightforward replica of G1 Prime's. MP Prime is not just a big G1 Prime; he's the perfect statement of G1 Prime's concept. You'd think the trailer could be the same. Of course, if they did tinker with the design, you'd have some other purist who'd like it less. How's the plastic quality?

Just wondering, I have the MP-04 Prime with trailer. Other than Roller and it looks like the hose and launcher it appears to be similar to the MP-04 version.

Did the kit come with the trailer and everything? Also, is the kit compatible with the MP-04 trailer? Just trying to figure out if Roller and his few accessories are worth spending extra money.

Sorry if I confused you. The upgrade kit didn't come with roller. Roller came with the transformable trailer.

The upgrade kit includes all this stuff here below, longer screws, and the tail lights:

I got you now. I was a little confused before. It doesn't help that there are now like 3 or so MP Trailers on the market, official or otherwise, not including the poor cardboard one from MP-01. Then again there are 2 Takara MP Primes and 2 Hasbro Primes so it kind of gets easy to be confused about this stuff at times.

Actually installation is quite easy, especially if you never put the original stickers on. That was the hard part, getting the old stickers off. PAIN in the ass!

The other parts go on with some pretty heavy gauge two-sided tape and the provided screws. Real easy.

Why did you have to remove the old stickers? Can't you just put it over them?

I'm sure you could. I just wanted it to adhere to the plastic better.

I like this custom much better than the Justitoys and Takara versions. Both lack the details this one has and the fan who made this really should be hired by Hasbro since he is a TF fan as well. Even the box is large and quite professional looking. Watch out for the edges I got a nasty cut from the edges. Other than that definitely get the upgraded version it is worth it!

I cannot find the linky to the guy's site but someone here should have it and can post it too.

I want this so bad,
I have 2 problems though:
1) I dont want to spend the 150+ on the trailer or the Upgrade
2) I dont even have MP Prime...

Iron manic, I do noticed in your pics that the upgrade kit has a lighter shade of grey compare to the trailer and has glitter on it, which looks very different from the pics the seller posted on ebay. Is that how it comes in, or did you add a layer of silver paint to yours? I would prefer it to match the trailer grey plastic and without the glitter, if I had a choice.

Its more my camera than anything else. They are fairly close in color, I didn't paint it. The silver is just to give it more detail I suppose. It looks real good with the grey.

This might be difficult, but can anyone post comparison pictures between the custom trailer and the Takara MP 04 version? :D
