I think there is something wrong with it because the middle won't push together. There's like a gap between his chest and legs that looks like it can be moved or filled in somehow, but nothing wants to move. The instructions are in Japanese, and from what I can tell from the pictures I did everything right. Could anyone tell me what's going wrong?

Are you pulling his crotch piece out? Or is something catching on the backpack somewhere? Are his silver parts hitting the waist flaps?

It's usually the crotch piece that does that. You have to pull it out forward before pushing down the trunk piece down. If done correctly, the lowest part of the cockpit should go behind the crotch piece. If that doesn't help, please post photos showing different angles of the problem area.

I think I got it. Thanks everyone. The picture helped alot.

It wasn't the crotch that was giving me problems but the silver chest plate that wouldn't move.
