new respect for the real Bonecrusher

Postby jezones » Sat Aug 25, 2007 4:22 pm

interesting story on the real life bonecrusher, this is the link to the text story, there is a video on the cbs news home page. This just made me like the alt mode of bonecrusher a whole lot more. funny i thought it was just a toy sitting on my shelf. Maybe its just because i used to be in the Army and all we had was hmmv's

Very cool, and it keeps our troops alive, I like it!

To bad the clip didn't show more of how the arm works though.

There's one on Youtube that shows them using the arm from inside the vehicle and then the roadside bomb detonates while they are manipulating it.

Thats not bonecrusher, he is a buffalo H-mine protected vehicle, not an MRAP. there is a difference, look it up. MRAP doesn't have a claw to detonate mines with, it just absorbs the impact. :P
Same basic design though.
I am a very disgruntled Brit.

Dude, look at the picture... that has a claw...
Bonecrusher's was way oversized. The real Buffalo's claw is the same size as the MRAP, and in fact, they're the same thing as far as I know.
