I kind of like this, It's the lovable monster. He's ugly but you can't help but feel sorry for it. I'll get one just because I can't bear to see the poor thing alone and unloved on a toy stores shelf.

He dopes have molded fists. not bad. They'd probably look a little better in black or at least gray.

If I find him I may pick him up, if only because he's a novel idea.

I hope the molded fists actually have a peg hole in them to hold some kind of weapon.

It's a big improvement from the mistransformed initial pics. The molded hands are ok, but they could have done better since he's a combiner. But I'd still want to see their individual hands.

I see the hate, yet I cannot help but feel once comics & cartoon episodes with the characters in action pump out, and a non-mistransformation pic show up (or, heck, not) that later many will want.

Just judging by the trends.

And I still dig it. :grin:

Yikes! Looks like a lost episode of Power Rangers.

Before Tommy became the Evil Green Ranger, then the Good Green Ranger, then the White Ranger, and further more the Red Ranger. (Did I miss a color?) He was the red and blue Bionic Ranger, with equally lame vehicles, and powers, and the silly side kick duo. Jamie Kennedy really scraped the bottom of the acting gig pit with that one.

As for "Tommy" I guess he was destined to be in one of these lame shows.

Back to Safegaurd. He is kind of growing on me, though I'll need to see more pics before I commit myself.

Still not overly impressed, and Safeguard still looks too cluttered and untidy as a figure.

Yikes. Its a shame, too, 'cause with a decent paint-job (say, primarily white, bit of black and blue/ red highlights) these toys could have worked. :sad:

it may just be mee but the two colours clash. kind of reminds of of what two of what you would get if you combine two of the same energon molds together (example...energon downshift and universe down shift). neither of the bots almost inspire the title jetfire. i was so looking forward to these. the kind of look like KO's. two figures that accidentally combine!

I don't know...I like the concept and the figure doesn't look TOO bad... I might have to wait for hasbro to repaint them before I pick up a set though.
