Ive known for a while now that Optimus Primal playes a role in Beast Wars 2. Ive never seen the series so can somebody please explain what he did? And he looks like he does in season 1 of Beast Wars so does BW2 take place ato the same time as the original BW.

I'm pretty sure it takes place in the future because of Moon and Artemis( ), but I can't answer your other question.

ive only seen the first fan dubbed episodes, so idk.

the bw2 movie promo shows lio convoy and beast convoy shakeing hands, so he might only be in the movie, that might be the place to look.

BW2 and BW Neo were created in Japan during the period of rest between Beast Wars Season 1 and Beast Wars Season 2 and Season 3. This is why Optimus Primal's cameo in BW2 is in his original non-TM form and also why Beast Wars Seasons 2 and 3 are given a different name of Beast Wars Metals in Japan.

He doesn't appear in the show episodes (that I know of), but actually appears in the BW2 "movie". The main plot of the movie is that BW2 Galvatron gains control of this creature called Manjin Zarak, but to keep the interest of the audience the creators of this film also took scenes from both Beast Wars and BW2 episodes and chopped them up placing them in the film. As such, this type of film would not be quite welcomed within American mainstream audiences (even of the type of people that those of us on this board are). Anyway, Magnaboss finds a way to bring Convoy (Optimus Primal) to their time and location and he helps LioConvoy save the day.

But basicly since BWII takes place between Season 1 & 2 of the actual Beast wars and since everyone knows, Primal Died at the end of Season 1 he was summond from beyond the grave by Magnaboss to help Lio Convoy and co.

Just watched BW II The Movie on Youtube(Beast Wars Second: LioConvoy Kiki Ippatsu!), and I thought it was pretty good. Not quite as good as the '86 movie(due to lenth, it's not even 50 minutes), but enjoyable enough for me to attempt to consider looking into more BWII episodes on youtube, preferably in original Japanese, cause I wasn't too fond of the fan-dub.

Anyway, one thing I gotta ask: Was Japan still under the assumption that Beast Convoy was the original Convoy? Cause that would explain why they considered him to be a legend. It would also explain how he ended up with the Matrix, cause technically, that hadn't happened yet.

Oh, and Mazin Zarak got defeated to easily, and had a very unexpected alt. mode.

Expect a Better Fandub of BWII the movie in the late future, As for Majin Zarak. He was abit of a disappointment really, I was expecting him to be stronger than Unicron

i just watched the movie. that was awsome. so who is Majin Zarak? i wikipedia him and there wast much. anyone knoew more about him?

There isn't really anything about him outside of the movie. Just a plot device of the film (like Unicron was to the original G1 movie); the only difference was that Unicron has continued in the different continuities and Majin Zarak didn't.

Yeah galvatron's original plan was to bring Megatron back though the portal instead he brought back Majin Zarak.

Where can I find the beast wars II movie fandub?I havent heard about it until now.

I dont watch the fandubs they are not that great. So i watch the japanese version with subs or with out i can still understand it.

the movi is broken into 5 parts on there and the video quality is very low. reminds me of vhs lol... good movie.

The youtube video is SUB not DUB. There's a difference.

Also, about the upcoming Fandub, will it have the original openings and endings? Cause the ones one Youtube omit the openings and endings, which kinda added to my disapointment.
