I know there is a cheap version of the SkyGarry knockoff as well as the Brave release. But there are a bunch of MISB Sky Garry's (in Return of Convoy boxes) on e-bay with a BIN price of 200 or less and I find that strange. Any one think this could be a new KO or was there a Chinese release of this figure that is now surfacing (like the Chinese LioKaiser or Landcross). Any ideas?

Whatever the reason, it is way too suspicious. I wouldn't go near them.

There has been an influx of these lately. If I had a box of them, I'd sell them off very slowly and would nt do a BIN. Because there are multiple sellers with multiple listings all for $200 or less...I would be careful about buying one of these.

Oh crap. I won this off eBay. Getterdragun, can you tell if this is a fake? I haven't received it yet. This guy has 3 copies up for bid with all the same picture.

Update:

Well I got my MISB Sky Garry and I still don't quite know. If it is a knock off, it is a very well made copy and the toy itself does not appear to have the typical bad ko quality.

Upon further inspection of the box and it's contents, I find a styrofoam insert, original looking instruction sheet, stickers, a Battlestars catalogue, 2 white guns, a black micromaster ramp, some grey plastic thing [?] and the exclusive micromaster that comes with the original Sky Garry.

The box looks and smells brand new though and that is where I worry a bit. I've been trying to contact the sellers of these recent MISB Sky Garry's to ask them some questions, but I have yet to receive a reply.

After all is said and done, I still like my copy. But if it is a ko, it isn't worth the $200 I paid for it. Although if it is indeed an original, I am really really happy!!!

The first URL has the pix all "Fuzzy", so I can't tell.

All in all, I find find it interesting that all of a suden there were multiple listings of MISB Sky Garry's, but at the same time, It's X-mas, so I always expect ppl to sell stuff for a quick buck!

These have been around for some time now. I search Sky Garry often, and normaly see 3 or 4 listed.

This is getting out of control.

I suspect they are knockoffs, but I also think that the fact they apear to be very good ones means it's not that big an issue (i mean some reissues look less convincing as that one sounds).
